While i agree with @LodwigRedemption that its a nice touch, its actually just done for legal matters, and since GTA:Online doesn't really have its own credits they end up in SP credits (if GTA:O does have some kind of opening credits and i forgot, you can bet it will list the artists too) besides its literally just updating a text file somewhere, so they are not wasting time on this nearly as much as you think, worst case scenario this is like half an hour of work tops

If you are doing Contact Missions this week, if you have a playlist of the older missions like Blow Up or San Andreas Soul...insert a Repo job as the first job on the list.  After all the “old” contact missions will pay out much more.  I just tested it..

 

Ballas to the Wall paid $29280 10 mins

 

I did Repo “RV Nearly There?” And then Ballas to the Wall after..10mins $36980

Uh-oh, that sounds like a glitch that might cause R* to nerf the payouts on the Repo missions which already have a nice payout in comparison to the joke that is Gerald and Yacht missions' payouts.

Its either what @Timsalabimbo said (remains of somebody's mission) or its just part of the "air vehicles for decoration" logic, im sure you've seen those "Maibatsu Frogger" heli's and the occasional "Buckingham Maverick" fly around, the jet ("Jobuilt P-996 Lazer") can appear in most of those locations too, its just more rare.

That said, did it have an icon???
Because since a recent update the Madam Nazar cabinet can give you several lines that actually do stuff, for example theres one (i dont know the exact line / its not mentioned on the wiki's) thats something along the lines of "keep an eye on the sky, hell might come raining down", then after a short while (5-15mins?) as you are in the actual freemode world, randomly a jet icon will appear on your radar pretty damn close, and the actual jet will carpet bomb you in like 2-3 seconds after it shows up. Did you use the Madam Nazar cabinet before this happened? if so and it did have an icon, you should feel good about not dying to it

I just found out if you're in a random's Casino Penthouse and have a MacBeth shot

and he does not have the bedroom expansion....you can spawn there and be essentially trapped

Not normal. Associate salaries are 3x this week. But getting associate salary during casino heist is normal. Daily charges and incomes also continue.

I never knew how much of a beast the Nightshark was. I got one for free a long time ago and just left it in my facility and never used it. Last night I decided to bring it out and have some fun with my crew. I upgraded the armor to max, gave it the level 3 armor plating on the hood, all the usual tune ups and that sucker withstood a 15 minute police chase at 5 stars, with us running from The Alamo Sea, through Paleto Bay and down to the Los Santos Airport (after picking up one of those business battle briefcases).

The Nightshar is fantastic! Not only is it highly armored, but it's much quicker and nimbler than most other armored vehicles.

So if you go this this place near the airfield in the desert, you might be able to hear this very strange sound of some sort of alien voice or hellish howling. The trash bags seem very suspicious. I wonder what's involved...

 

I thought it was the result of someone modding but now it seems extremely unlikely that's the case.

Went to the place of your screenshots in SP, only heard train, coyote & bird sounds, nothing that seemed out of place

 

Went there in online, didnt hear anything like you described there either, the one difference to SP was that in online theres never a train, but there occasionally is a distant train horn.

 

One thing i did notice, those white trashbags, they cant be destroyed, like at all, but if you shoot em they just have some leaves particles, dont think its gonna lead anywhere

 

Can you make a short video of what happens when you go there?

Wrong serial killer. The one @87notchback is talking about is the one you need to take out to get the Navy revolver. The spot with the trash bags is 100% one of the clues for it.

If you finish the casino heist (successful or not, doesnt matter) your personal vehicle spawns with all door-windows rolled down, considering the recent vehicles with actually armored windows i cant help but think this is intentional to slightly increase the chances of other players shooting you

If you are having problems with the iFruit app crashing since the summer update I found a solution.  I think what messed it up was the new vehicles and wheels.  What I did was stole 10 cars off the street in a row and put them all in one garage.  After that the app worked.  I purchased the plates I wanted and just put them on random cars I stole.  After that they will be available for any of your cars for free.  I noticed after getting rid of just a few of the cars the app crashes again.
