This was purposely added to prevent players from idling on the wheel in public sessions, preventing trolling.

I wonder if they will drive you up Chiliad?  Would be fun to shoot him on the ride back down.

It should be able to ATTEMPT the ascent. However the driver is an idiot and flipped multiple times as ive instructed it to take me to my rayton canyon bunker while i took a [ insert name of 1 million dollar

Pegasus vehicle] in the other room.

If you start a contact mission while being hauled around in the limo, you will start the mission in the drivers seat of said limo.

Also, the limo has a small light under the edge of the door lighting up the ground when its opened. Like this.

The paint on the lazer is programmed to be rust. So if you increase the rust settings on it, you can make it look abandoned. I have some images to demonstrate.

Note, the lazer in all three images has been painted dark red.

For example, this is how it looks normally:

QaDYbl1.png

This is it with no rust at all:

fVOFDEq.png

And this is it with maximum rust:

Interesting!

The patterns look quite convincing.

I'd view that as more a layer of dirt than rust, however, although in this scenario 'rust' is more of a layer effect than a color.

Planes are pretty much universally made from aluminium and other alloys that don't rust.

They do oxidize, but it is more of a grey 'patina' than a red oxide color.

Considered after the oxidization layer, the extra layers of dirt are dependent on location.

For example: US aircraft will often be stored in desert areas, like the boneyard in Sandy Shores, Commonwealth and ex-Soviet aircraft will be susceptible to build up found in more temperate regions, as in the lower photo.\

Painted aircraft will usually show a lesser degree of deterioration.

Again, not trying to nitpick, just lending a modeler's eye with reference to realism.

The art of weathering is a very, very deep and broad subject, and often a matter of divisive opinions, but there is no right or wrong, as quite often there are real-world examples of most anything.

Carry on!   :)

The Howard NX-25 has an A6M Zero livery -- that's probably pretty well known. So I wanted to create a realistic crew color for it, thinking (try an image search) A6Ms were either white or green...

Wrong.

Apparently the early war ones came in two colors, ameiro (caramel brown) and hairyokushoku (gray-green), which only became white-looking due to wear and tear. Those are two pretty ugly colors though, in my opinion, so I abandoned my plan of making my Howard NX-25 a Zero lookalike, and went with the classic racing numbers instead.

Things I didn’t know:

How fun it is to f*ck around jumping off of the casino roof into the pool.

Myself, @SkynetOnlineID and a mutual friend spent about a half hour doing dives and somersaults.

@SkynetOnlineID and I did Baker’s mission with the Skylift, which after the mission, remained on the casino roof. So, we repositioned it, luckily, one blade ended up over the pool, like a high dive board.

Much fun was had by all.

Simple native trainer. There's no way to do it in normal online as far as I know.

The only way to get non-heeled shoes AFAIK is to do Golf while wearing stockings. Your character will wear white-ish sport shoes with the stockings while golfing. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a glitch to get that out of there into free roam.

There's a trick that makes the hardest Hack (the IP Hack, y'know the hardest of the 3 in Sightseer, where they give you an IP address & you need to match it up with random digits that keep scrolling around) pathetically easy. The numbers/addresses go in a specific order or pattern, and they're not random. Each digit (read: single-numbers, not the whole address/code) goes sideways Right-2-Left, one by one. And once they reach the "edge" (farthest number to the left), the 1st digit to the left goes up at the beginning of the upper row while the rest of the code is still down below. The digits keep going to the left side every ~1sec or so.

So, instead of wasting time trying to figure out where the full code is, try positioning the thing at the very top-left, then start moving right - until you land on the specific number. The pattern isn't random and goes/changes in a fixed direction, so stumbling on the correct IP address will happen sooner or later. Just memorize the first number to the right of the address you're looking for and keep scrolling right until you find said number, chances are high that the rest of the highlighted code will be the right one.

Uhm, guys? I knew about the whole "closing app to cancel wheel spin" thing, but it seems I'm still actually GETTING the chips despite me closing the app.

Oops.

It's funny if it is indeed added for that reason, because I can think of a few things that Rockstar should have addressed regarding trolling before worrying about idling on the wheel.

I always look for easy to spot number combinations. like 07 00, 01 91, or similar obvious ones that stand out from the surrounding ones.

You only need to spot the 2 most obvious and you've got it.

It's a pretty fast and easy method once you train your brain to look for them.

But this one's just as easy once you know the pattern the numbers moves in, just incase you got a terrible combination (& don't feel like restarting a million times).

The (Apocalypse) Scarab only has high beam front lights, thus turning the lights on initially only turns the red rear lights on.

That's because they are not actually there, they are in an interior under the docks.

I always thought they were saying "Bessie', which makes no sense to me, but some have postulated that they're deriding 'Benzies' for having left the dev team.

If so, it's pretty childish of them, but not surprising.

Not in the trailer.

On the back of the CAB.

This means you can disconnect the TRAILER, get three mates to climb the back of the TRUCK and go on the broomstick hunt and as long as you drive carefully not to shake them off, you can spam RPGs, sticky bombs and MG rounds from a near indestructible truck.

Hold up. So if a friend is standing on the back of the cab and an MK2 fires where they're standing, they'll effectively be in godmode from those attacks?

I noticed that too. It's annoying because the arcade shirts are incompatible with any jackets, at least for females.

It's true for males too, bummed me out as I like wearing logo shirts with jackets over top.
