On consoles, unless you glitch it, I think there's only some gunrunning methods to get wet.

Speaking of raining in the night. If on PC, you also need to have really good specs as before I got my new desktop, I never had it rain during night, but since I got it, I've had 2 instances when it rained at night.

I've never seen it rain at night, but of course have older specs: GTX 970, i7-4770, 16GB of RAM...

I seriously doubt it depends on specs. First there is nothing fundamentally different to rain at day from graphics standpoint. Second the weather is same of all players, and AFAIK, on all platforms. The formula is known, and there is site showing actual (and near future) weather in the game.

That applies for weather in general session. Jobs or races typically have different weather. Also modders mess with weather all the time.

today i found out that the casino gambling affects your "gambling" stat that is in the game since day one.

like betting on the winner of a race during normal races.

i apparantly made 8.8 million through gambling...

I'm on PS4 and I saw it rain at night, in freemode.

If you're using any MOC turret and open up Pause Menu, you'll stiill be able to shoot. Doesn't work (more like, works as it should) in Avenger or Terrorbyte.

you mean the ones in which ms.baker tells you to get rid of the vehicle and you have to stay out of sight of those police cars?

 

yeah...i realized that after i tried to do it with the cargobob bc the game wanted me to drive from the casino to the altruist camp...was a long drive...

 

btw, there are 4 unique corpse models for that mission.

specific for the car you drive.

like the blue car that looks like epsilon: does have a epsilon member corpse in it.

While driving the "High Roller" each ped you run over deducts $5000 from the tip.

I hammered probably 30 on the way to the pickup and about 20 on the way to the casino.

Agatha is pretty upset when she calls after the job.

Last night, I was making a move for the Hostile Takeover briefcase in the redneck camp when a half-naked hillbilly materialized out of nowhere and then proceeded to flee the scene in terror. He was wearing a sweater and a pair of shoes. I was mildly horrified but mostly laughing. I'm also probably never going back there again.

Picking up the 'Hot Property' briefcase means that you don't get a wanted level. I whiled away the time by wandering around the prison zapping wardens with the Atomiser. Even when zapped they just get to their feet and stare at you without firing back. Unless you send them flying off the roof. They they just sort of lie there in a mangled wreck without breathing.

Brings back memories when i was working on my strength by fighting civilians in the street then fleeing cops on foot and i came across the mansion with topless chicks. I showed my buds and one of them was inspired to search for more areas with topless chicks and he decided to stop looking after frinding the altruist camp.

No correlation whatsoever, I've played on 4790k and 980 GTX  since 2017 until I've moved to 8700k and 1080 Ti in 2018, no pattern change in the weather. Sometimes it just happens more often that's all and gunrunning sales can influence that a lot. The most rainy were the nights when people were doing sale trains during 2x Bunker, that's the real outlier: a lot of Bunker sales at the night will definitely influence it.

I thought I was just being paranoid thinking it rained much more often just before I did a bunker sale.

 

It generally starts a few minutes before I'm ready to head up north to my bunker, usually when I'm starting the last Client Job before I go sell, so it must correlate with when my supplies run out so as to make either a potential supply steal mission or a sell mission that much harder.

During Casino Work "Bargaining Chips", you can still find the dealer before you find the vehicle, and you can get the chips off him as usual. Just gotta memorize how they all look like beforehand.

 

Also, getting spotted by the police during "Undisclosed Cargo" fails the mission instantly and you're busted. So... don't do that. (I thought you'd just get a wanted level and I was tired because stupid Tornado)
