It's not that hard to get a big plane down on the racetrack, or the Grapeseed airstrip. The trick is to line up with the runway with plenty of time before you land, go in as slow and low as you can then kill the engine just before you touch down.  If I can do it anyone can.  

I think the Miljet has also had its damage tolerances upgraded recently. In the past it was very easy to break the cockpit windows even on a smooth landing. But no so much anymore, it can take slightly more of a beating before things start to break.

Yeah, that one baffled me when I tried, then found out how cheap it is and just bought it.

Just dates back to launch, with "high end" (not steal-able) for cars being $100k and up, but it's $10k for motorcycles. It's never made sense.

Never taken out a NOOSE tail rotor yet that left the chopper intact... it would have to be very close to the ground to be salvageable.

Due to the sheer boredom that this game has become on my main account(I own everything I want to own and got way past my money target for some months now), I decided to pickup the character in my secondary and level it up, but now I want him to be a biker...And there are a couple of things I found out about playing as a legit low level:

 

-Phone spam was worse in the after hours update, but it's still ridiculous...Why can't they keep the phone spam exclusive to our emails? FFS;

 

-The majority of randoms are much more willingly to pick up fights with me, be a level 5 all the way up to a level 500...They are also much more willingly to mess up my MC contracts, way too annoying;

 

-As I don't have a single meme vehicle(neither do I want to) and my shooting stat is not maxed out yet(working on this), I'm helpless against OP Mk2, tank or jet griefers, the compact assault rifle my character has is useless to fight against the Mk2 riders due to recoil (you guys have no idea how much recoil can be a bitch to get used to);

 

-It takes a awfully longer than I thought to get out of the level 30 - 40 in free roam, and I have to push for the level 50 so I can get Lester's off radar;

 

-Most of MC sales are truly infuriating to deal with, and that's because I stick to only two bars of products, I always get two sale vehicles and the timer is always too tight to make me worry about not making the sale in time;

 

-It amazes me to see that we can pay 75k for the supplies but only get paid about 50k to a sale of these supplies in LS...Document Forgery and Weed are a pure rip-off.

 

-Lamar's Low Rider Missions are really infuriating to do with randoms, I haven't got past the first mission yet because the morons keep dying at the airport parking lot;

 

-Conversely, randoms tends to be more effective in Simeon's repo missions..Obviously because there's no dumb mission fail parameters for a idiot dying in the mission.

 

 

 

But overall I'm liking this experience, it's something new to do and it won't get me bored so easily, this will do for now until the next dlc comes.

Swiping left and right on the PS controller touchpad cycles through your weapon menu. Perhaps i'm just a little slow, but this has been a significant help in vehicle, when you accidentally (square button) cycle past the weapon you wanted you can swipe left to go back to that weapon.

Didnt know until recently that you can have "Highlights" added to your hair, with base of the hair colour being different from highlights..

I found something out the other day when picking out colors for my Patriot. Midnight purple in the 'metalics' category is not the same as midnight purple in the 'classic" category. Metallic version is actually more like a dark blue, not purple at all. 

 

I used the classic midnight purple for my Patriot and did the pearl glitch to get shafter purple pearlescent on.

There are a few colours like this. Classic Gold is not the same as Metallic Gold with the pearlescent removed. Also some wheel colours that have the same name as body colours.

This is something that @Gaffa discovered back then, I only became aware of it now.

It turns out you deal less damage in freemode than you do in a deathmatch.

When you play in deathmatches or you gain the "Quad damage" loser perk in 1v1 freemode deathmatch, you use 100% of your weapon base damage.

However, you only use 72% of your weapon base damage in freemode with no perks at all.

There are some modifiers that restore it to 100% like being close to CEO or MC formation or Stand your ground.

BST restore your weapon base damage to 100% and boost it up by 44%

If we talk about Special Carbine Mk2, its base damage is 32.5

0.72 * 32.5 = 23.4, now round it down = 22

Note: If against players, the damage value is rounded to the lowest value, if against NPCs, no need to do that.

22 * 15 = 330

The health value for a high level player who's rank 120 or above is 328 (without armor)

It takes 15 shots to kill him, this also applies to the original Special Carbine.

The stock versions of Special Carbine Mk2 + Carbine Rifle Mk2 + Bullpup Rifle Mk2 aren't different from their original versions in freemode. They are only useful if you make use of the extra attachments.

Aye nice, I'm currently going through all the special ammo damage stuff too... noticed they buffed the Hollow Point rounds to make them really quite viable, especially with the pistol.

Wait... now I'm getting different results again. Hmm, so I wonder if there's a way to trigger "normal" damage in freeroam...? 

The other player is setting their health to 5000 for testing, and for armour it's being set to 1500 just so there's some room for the "big boy" weapons - but my Pistol Mk.2 with the HP rounds were definitely doing 55 damage per shot yesterday, and now they're back down to the original values when I tested them a while back... 

Hmph. I'm stumped.

Yesterday I found out that using a scramjet to fly past a police chopper counts for the Near Misses Challenges LOL

 

And you can be in passive, walk into a player's tank, disable passive and shoot and kill the player with regular guns while you're still standing inside the tank.

The Musket is the single most powerful weapon in the game aside from Explosives and Launchers.

TOSlink is a fibre channel carrying light, so yeah, there's a "laser"
