You can buy multiple armors & equip them whenever.

Example

You're wearing armor on a mission

Yeo shot up & lose that armor

You can put on another armor

Can't believe I didn't know this.

Should be obvious enough with the menu and all.

At least I knew about the snacks..lol

I noticed that a lot of cars from GTA IV that aren't in GTA V are actually in the game but only as burnt up/rusted out/stripped scrap cars. EX: The Uranus can be found in the canal rusted out, and a stripped down t-top Faction can be found in an alleyway by 331 supply street garage.

I found out you can stand random fights between peds by running into them, if they're male and they collapse into each other, they'll get up and start fighting. Started one between 3 guys, 1 just stood and watched until it was his turn to fight, seems like peds have individual fighting abilities as the first champ didn't get hit once but promptly got taken out by the waiting guy.

Round 1.. Fight!

I was going to put a bullet in his back but he won not just his fight that day, but my respect.

Sure. All North Americans are no more than a block away from a Sub-Urban at any given moment ;):D

Cracking track, ironically from Saints Row! Lol

This thread proves why this game is a technical and detailed masterpiece. I swear I haven't seen so much detail in real, never mind any other game!

You obviously didn't get the memo. I used to think like you, but after reading this forum I discovered that GTAO is actually just a massive steaming turd and R* are nothing but a bunch of charlatans out to rip you off and eat your babies ;)

Of course there are many game breaking bugs and glitches, but that doesn't take away the level of detail this world has. It's generally astonishing how much work went into it. While the "suits", as Richard Soloman would put it, at R* are possibly after the cash head on with no brakes, the devs who worked on all this detail aren't. I respect them as they are the ones who helped create this as I'll say it again detailed masterpiece.

I agree with you, the game is awesome, I was being sarcastic towards certain members of this forum lol

Its a relatively new feature, I love it though... Actually it was this feature (i think) that saw me going to Ammunation more to pick up the spare vests and that's when I noticed the shoes for sale which sparked this thread haha. But yeah, I always have spare vests on me...its possible to survive a hit from a heavy sniper with full health and ammo...its almost automatic for me that when I enter a car a hit select and snack up health and put a vest on.

Okay here's something I know, but someone might not.

If you have the Valentine's DLC Stockings, you can change the heels you wear with them. Just select a High Heel Boot. That way, you don't need to wear those ugly red heels with the black stockings...

I didn't figure it out myself until a week after I got the stockings.

You can get one of those moving trucks, and have your friends drive. You hop on top of the roof, and when they get going fast enough try to hop on to the container and the trucks nose will jump into the air. Also, I'm sure all of you know about the tattoo parlor swingset glitch. It's amazing.

You go inside of the tattoo parlor by the movie theater, and lean against the inside of the door frame with your face turned towards the inside of the tattoo parlor. It forces the door to stay open. Then your friend, or you get a car and drive up against it and it flings you across the map.

There are a few Youtube videos on how to do it. There's one about a gate which I haven't tried, then there's this one.

Just noticed that you can hear screaming that isn't coming from actual NPCs if you commit a crime that a lot of people notice.

Since the first GTA actually! Every GTA game has had police vehicles with two different tones of siren. The primary (wail) sound when hitting the horn button, and holding down that button to get a secondary (yelp) sound. If you go back to the original top-down GTA game, you will find you can do this in the squad cars and other emergency vehicles.

GTA IV saw the introduction of a third siren tone, as well as the electronic air horn to replace the stock vehicle horn sound. The third tone introduced was the piercer or phaser tone, which switches randomly between the yelp when holding down the horn button with the siren already active.

Here is a video to show how a siren basically works and how Rockstar have designed the police cars with this in mind:

The more you know ;)

Cheers!

If your health is low (red) you only need one (1) can of Coke from the vending machine to get 100% green.

As far as I know there are 2 in the game. One behind Rockford Hills or Vinewood Hills and the other one at the freeway near Sandy Shores or south of Grapeseed, can't remember where exactly.Yes, the other one you drive past when deliver the van in potshot ( first right turn of from freeway )

Commander S

Not sure when this happened (either when Pure Black was added, or hardtop/topless cars were made separate - in all honesty, I'd been neglecting my 'Shee of late), but the hardtop Banshee now has the option to tint the windows - which means I can now have my custom one with the same 'dark smoke' windows as my other racers. Looks fantastic as a result - hooray! :D

seems the fragile car from RR is likely intentional , as bringing the car to lobby make it no longer fragile ( i even shoot glass , roof & trunk with AP pistol )

After glitching into the Humane Labs and drowning, I found a security guard that was using a flashlight.

Unfortunately for the guard, I was in my mobster persona and did the most logical step when it comes to witnesses...
