Things you didn't know about GTAO until now

that you can "roll down" (more like make it disappear) the window without breaking it by not having a weapon equipped and pressing LB

 

for the ppl that are OCD about their car being damaged like myself

I like to drive a hardtop convertible like the Cog or Carb, roll window down do drive-by, then hit roof button twice and window rolls up.

 

I am obssesive about havig a scratch free car. When i say i am a good driver it means i arrive to the mission in a clean ride headlights intact. So i really love the ability to roll my window up/down. Everytime i spectate someone they only know how to floor it and smash into everything.

 

Its my own personal preference, but this means if an npc bumps into me... well, you know the rest...

yeah ive been loading up on P's & Q's to have for missions since i found out you can bypass the eating animation by being in cover from this very thread

That big TV sign has glass in the screen which you can shoot out. Only noticed yesterday. Always thought it was just an empty hole where the screen is.

 

 

 

Holy sh*t, that thing has glass on it!?! Have to make a custom race to smash through it.

 

If you're good, you can actually ramp a nearby hill and send your car through it.

 

That was exactly how I discovered it has glass in it. Was a nasty surprise on a bike.

Yeah, you can pick it up with a cargobob, my friend has a weird fascination with it for some reason. Once, I found her in alone in a private server just pushing it around the place. Then I made some kinda remark about her always chasing balls lol.

 

Dunno if this has been mentioned in this thread yet but, if you use taxis for traveling while busy doing something in RL and can't stand that god awful Mexican radio station, you can change the taxi music by selecting the radio station in the pause menu instead.

Noticed this. The still doesn't do it justice, but next time in passing have a look up at it. It is very helpful. Does it have any other useful friends around the map (any other functioning game-time clocks in the game, not including pause menu and ifruit phone).

At the downtown police station in Rockford, I swear there's a clock tower there as well.

Also, if you haven't noticed; the LED style watches you can buy have the correct time on them, but are basically impossible to see unless looking at it in the store.

As far as I know there are 2 in the game. One behind Rockford Hills or Vinewood Hills and the other one at the freeway near Sandy Shores or south of Grapeseed, can't remember where exactly.

There is a huge working clock on a wall inside the bank. I think it has some smaller ones as well.

i went in to the hair shop earlier and realized the clock was going in game time.

 

 

also noticed when you drive offroad enough with white-wall tires the white part wears away (i dont know if it works on any vehicle but it worked on the rat loader)

It doesn't work with P&Qs anymore...at least for me. But I can still use it in a car. Other snacks works fine in cover too.

Never really noticed the gas station at Harmony & Route 68 (yet,my 2nd garage is right there). I was checking it out today and noticed the garage door opens as seen in the pic's.

Of course there are many game breaking bugs and glitches, but that doesn't take away the level of detail this world has. It's generally astonishing how much work went into it. While the "suits", as Richard Soloman would put it, at R* are possibly after the cash head on with no brakes, the devs who worked on all this detail aren't. I respect them as they are the ones who helped create this as I'll say it again detailed masterpiece.
