The Mule in the Nightclub entrance has a digital speedometer, and a very last gen looking interior as a whole.

A neat, realistic, time-saving trick for certain nightclub promotion missions:

For either the 'pick up the celeb and lose the paparazzi' thing from Lazlow, or Tony's 'smash up the developers' cars' one, you can spook the developers and the paps by pointing a gun at them and making them run off.

This saves you a fight when you're going to town on the cars - and rather than break the mission, the 'escape the paps' bit doesn't happen, and it simply skips to 'pick up the assistant' phase instead.

Gotta say, I do like things like that, where there's more than one way to approach a problem, and you don't instantly fail for doing something perfectly reasonable, simply because 'you didn't follow the arbitrary instructions to the letter!'. :p  After all, what's the point in having a sandbox game, if it's just going to be rigidly linear, eh?

I meant to post this for a while and kept forgetting about it:

during the blimp club promotion mission, if you fire the flares when you're close to the ground, sometimes the peds and npc drivers get pissed at you (they become red dots/circles on the mini map) and try to chase you down.

I found it amusing.  🙂

Sometimes this one may glitch/mess up. One developer kept swinging his hammer despite being at gun point. 😂😂

Yeah, the same has happened to me a couple times.  Both times I was helping a friend and it was his mission, maybe that had something to do with it?

Ah - what I find happens in those instances is that the suits just run, but the builders will get narky and come over with the hammers, so I have to then shoo them off one-by-one by aiming a shotgun straight in their face (just like in real life! :colgate:).

If all else fails, use a relatively weak pistol, and a warning kneecap should do it.  Similarly, another thing to do is shoot the tyres on the paps' bikes - even if they don't get the hint and scram, they're going to have a harder time keeping up like that...

You can enter the FIB building by falling through the skylight on the roof.

Or, if you prefer to enter the FIB building in style (Director Mode only):

(You need to have Low Gravity and Invincibility on. And don't ask how do I have the Juggernaut Suit equipped)

You guys are still doing these missions? Wow. I prefer afking the Exec search, Piracy or Fortified. These things were nice for a day, but  there is no fun and it's quite time consuming for the pennies you're getting.

^ Haven't for a while. Probably never now I know you can dance your way to 2.5bars and buy the rest.

Dancing increases your club's popularity?

Interesting to know.

It's free (compared to switching DJs), but I imagine it takes a lot more time than just doing the missions.

Of course, it is nice to have different ways to achieve the same result!

I mean, I ended up getting side-tracked into just doing club management over and over in TBoGT, rather than the (IMO) largely grating main story, and it's the same here - if I just want to have a chilled-out GTAO session, I'll hop into my current daily driver, see if it's worth bothering with my daily objectives, then do at least one club management mission every so often to top up my popularity, pepper it with some Sightseer or what-have-you, or just enjoy the simple stuff like ...seeing if I can pull off a Gfred run using the Pounder Custom or something equally daft.

The payouts are laughable, and I'd have taken more variations of club management instead of the f***ing Terrorbyte nonsense, but even with what there is, it makes a nice thing to punctuate those times when I'm at a loose end as to what to do. "Hmm, I'm bored - oh, wait, time to do a quick club errand... ...and now I fancy doing something stupid with this leftover blimp!".

Same here, I just fit them in between making money or looking for Sentinels to steal, trying to get a bounty, rampaging against the fuzz, smashing cars with a firetruck or spraying other drivers and seeing how far they'll chase me, or whatever.

Also the blimp flares will get peds and npc drivers mad if you're low when you fire them and they'll chase you around, even during the mission!

Great fun!

It's still possible to get a Insurgent to your yacht for some Piracy Prevention.

The screen will turn to green when first smoking the snuff in nightclub(if look carefully, can see the characters smoking with nose).

It's random

You probably can. But can you lift a Insurgent on your yacht?

No Weazel News updates on the radio.

You know, this is one of those things that I think R* missed an opportunity with.

Like imagine dowloading the Bikers update 2 years ago and listening in the radio:

Weazel News!

A wave of motorcycle clubs have appeared in Southern San Andreas, joining the likes of the infamous Lost MC in the wave of endless crime that currently hits the county.

Weazel News, confirming your prejudices!

Something like that.

Also, kind of related but both the Declasse Yosemite and Pfister Neon commercials on Blonded should have been added to the radio commercial pool instead of being exclusive of a radio station.

The cops have become way more aggressive.

I usually like to practice my free aim missile shooting on NPC targets of opportunity.

When doing some typical Headhunter blasting of NPC vehicles, you get 3 wanted stars after hitting several (definitely non-police) vehicles.

This never happened before unless you fired just as a missile locked onto a popo cruiser and it hit.

Never knew the mesh grille color changes when you change the rim color of the Primo. Dont know how I never noticed it. Its noticeable with the custom mesh grille.

around burton LSC and Rockford Hills are now extremely vigilante and deadly korean gansters driving in traffic with SUVs, even hitting their car may end up getting killed not to mention shooting any loud weapon

When you pick up a car on the move with the Cargobob during I/E source jobs, sometimes the drivers drop money and weapons when the mechanic takes the car into your warehouse:

only sMG ammo this time, once before I got money as well.

It's pretty common knowledge that if you kill a player while you're in passive, you get kicked out of passive mode immediately.

However, I found out the other day that you can rig a car with an ignition bomb in LSC, leave it blocking the entrance so people have to move it to get in (I know.  Old skool, right?), and you remain passive when it blows up.

I still block shop entrances with cars when people are in them.  This was a break from the norm :p
