Parts of the map in GTA Online and GTA Story Mode alter.

For example, near the Del Perro apartments in story mode there are parking metres around the left side of the apartments, in online, they're not there.

Also, bunkers, facilities, hanger doors and some apartment and garage doors aren't present in story mode.

They aren't shown in contact missions too.

Actually, this is the reason why something like actually "finishing" the Mile High Club is actually feasible.

For the Contact Missions located on it like High Priority Case, R* could just revert the building to its unfinished state and revert it back when going back to Freemode.

That or just deleting the mission altogether, which is easier but it would suck IMO.

Agree but they would have to remove that one supply run from SR (I could live with that)

But knowing R* they would probably just take the easy way out and and instead of finishing Mile High Club they would just use another building.

We all know the Deluxo can float on water but if you slightly hold accelerate and bail out of your car it will continue to float on water without you inside it. Allowing you to enter and exit at will as long as you do the first part each time.

It is also not affected by the flow of the water so it wont be pulled away.

This is very likely a bit of an embarrassing one, a "Things I didn't know about GTAO until now, on account of me being blind as a beetle":😁

Only noticed recently that in Snapmatic Selfie mode, I can not only do the basic zoom and rotate, but also shift camera height and turn the head manually. I am almost 100% sure the notifications to these functions have never appeared before to me in this mode (and the keys are still not indexed in the hud either), maybe some bug prevented them hitherto? Anyway, there it is: Snapmatics are far more versatile than I thought.

I didn't realise how much fun the Stromberg is.  It helps me unite a lobby in their thirst for vengeance like nothing since the Fully Loaded Ruiner.

Pretty cool to go underwater in it too!

I'm 98% sure the Haulage trailer is indestructible, but I did NOT know that it could be bent/molded/shaped to fit (into our out of) it's surroundings...

the Flash GT ( and surely all the other cars affected by the SSASS handling flags) can´t make the first jump in the "big drop" stunt race , pretty sure in other big jumps too....

You can also use some Personal Actions while taking a selfie:

Also while doing Haulage the highway empties of traffic.

Imagine getting a friend to do Haulage while you source a car, no more traffic cars suddenly swerving into your way!

On topic: TIL that the Buzzard's miniguns are buffed in Online, they're weaker in Story Mode which sucks against vehicles but it's kind of more fun against other helicopters (it kind of reminds me of GTA IV's dogfights).

Not sure if many use the option or if any have ever actually tried it but the luxury helicopter from the CEO menu gives you quick teleport options to your office, crate warehouses, vehicle warehouse and a few shops across the map for $5,000.

I should note however, I've known this since it became a thing but funnily some people I have played with just thought it was a silly more expensive version of the Pick up helicopter from merryweather.

You can find out if you get a vehicle or several crates for special cargo. After you started a sourcing mission you have to check if the warehouse you deliver to is visible on the map. If you see the icon, you will have several crates.

You can remove head clothing from wireframe suit be switching gear to rebreather and back, and you can then save it. Any other gear (AFAIK) or accessory will remove the suit completely.

Btw I love the Blazer Aqua. Could do without the MG’s, I just love the all-terrain quality of it, it’s also quick up from/down into water and spawns fast right beside you. I usually use it whenever I’m around the Alamo Sea area.

Best thing to do in Blazer Aqua, especially in winter (by which I mean when there is snow in the game), is to go up Mount Chilliad, and then disable the wheels and skid down. In winter it looks like you're on snowmobile, but it's fun regardless of season. You have almost no control over the thing.

Yeah that's because of it's increased gravity value of 11.8 when most vehicles have a gravity value of 9.8.

It effects other Sports class vehicles too that weren't even from the SSASS update, it's a bit of a nuisance (Obey Omnis springs to mind).

Same problem with Tropos. But IMHO it's not gravity, but downforce. You can make the jump if you do barrel roll and spend most tome flying on your back. I managed to do it once after like 10 attempts. Thing is, the very same quality makes Tropos good for some other races, as it wont jump as high, spends less time in the air, and gains hugely in big jumps. As long as it can make them.

There's cars without downforce that have the issue though. Trust me, it's because of the gravity issue. Simply changing the gravity from 11.8 to 9.8 allows the vehicle(s) to make those jumps without having to roll, go faster or anything else.

First time I see this.

Not sure, but it seems he got his nickname censored/suspended since it was related to a porn star and "BJ" in the SC.

Apart from in Director Mode. I found out today that not every character that you can pick from the Trailer can take a selfie.

I wanted to explore something on the map but wanted a set time so it wouldn't get dark. Used DM and picked Maude just for the fun of it. Couldn't take a selfie using her.

Well, that is what I learnt today anyway. Probably forgotten something really important now haha!

I knew some modded cars show up at LSC at night, and that you can keep 'em in SP, but you can't in online.

I did not know that the sellable modded Sentinels can spawn there, and in the daytime.

I had driven there to sell the blue one from my CEO garage, but a free yellow is a gift, so I sold that at the usual $14,350 and drove the blue back to the garage to await the next sell in about an hour.

Wireframe bodysuits show the actual amount of polygons our characters have.

You;re not the only one. I just found that out last week when trying to remember how the damn controls worked after not playing the game for many months. I seen the tooltips pop up too and I too do not remember seeing them before.  Maybe it's a Berenstein/Berenstain effect.

^ I'm cool with this happening to me. I'm old, dotty, and there's always the possibility of spontaneous dimensional shifts, too, of course 😁

It sprang to mind, because day before I noticed the (cough) "new" (cough) features, Snapmatic had been acting up in one session, freaky camera angles, no selfie-animation any longer. So, either a) I was after reboot just more aware of the UI, and thus noticed first time, or b) something indeed had happened (or un-happened) with tool tips the day before.

Anyway, small fry.

OMG OMG Nightclubs coming AAARGH :panic::panic:

Despite what R* claim on their website, sending anything to their various feedback e-mail addresses does approximately jack s***. :turn:

GRINCH ASS BITCH

I just found out yesterday that when the police impound your car and say that it will be destroyed if you don't pick it up, they don't mean that it will be destroyed permanently. For five years I was terrified of having my cars permanently lost if I didn't immediately go pick them up, then last night one of my cars was impounded and I didn't realize until I was done fighting some guy, and all I had to do was pay the insurance fee and call my mechanic to pick it up -.-

Five years. Five long years.

Weapons you pick up from NPC enemies can't be upgraded to MK2, but ones from the various spawn points around the map can.

New one for the update...

If you pass out due to drinking too much in your Nightclub, you'll wake up on the seat of a toilet downstairs instead of the nearest Hospital.

And if you take the strongest ( but free) whiskey, you'll pass out after one cup and wake up somewhere like, MT Chilliad or The golf course
