Sir Michael

I just noticed that hacked lobbies still exist after I got into my first one today. We teleported all over the place, including the FIB first floor, the naked people camp, the western highway. I wish I got a picture of us dancing though... :(

Pictures get a bit dark.

Every car has a different license plate(besides the custom plates)
Cars of the same model that respawn in traffic does not have the same combination of numbers for the license plate, which explains why the numbers looks so randomized.

I was at epsylon building/house and there was a weird song playing really loud. Never noticed before.

Is it the Same one on their website? If not I'd like to know :)

I swear that song creeps me out.I would probably judge you if it didn't lol

Commander S

Never realised just how good the combination of day/night cycles are in this game, nor how well-integrated they are with the already-hugely-impressive lighting - but while trying to take a decent outdoor shot of one of my cars today, I had real difficulty in getting a good result, because the shadow of a signpost kept moving in the way.

Granted, the marginally over-the-top speed (those shadows really shift!) is the effect of the accelerated time of each in-game day, but still, the overall result is really impressive when you sit back and really take it all in. Basically, it's another great example of the attention to detail/immersion/verisimilitude R* was going for with the new HD-era Los Santos. Can't wait to see the HD re-release, with the added effects and improved textures (particularly on a decent high-end PC rig - here's hoping they don't screw the pooch with the port...).

This! I desperately tried to find a way to control the time of day in GTA online because of this reason, and failed. I'm very particular about this. I spend a good amount of time trying to find the perfect spot to place the car, the perfect spot to take the picture from, and the perfect angle of the sunlight. The solution is to recreate the car in SP, and then use quick save at the right time of day and at the right location.

Getting into the FIB building isn't a hacked lobby, a few of us know the way in.

Only time I see a public lobby these days is swapping characters as for some daft reason you can't do that and drop into an invite only, but it's straight out as soon as I can.

I know how to get in there, but I got teleported inside of it when I was driving my Turismo around Vespucci Beach.

There is a flag of SA, that reacts pretty accurately to the wind in game.

If I could capture card it in motion, it moves and folds with the wind in-game.

It isn't as stiff as the other flags in-game, like the flags on the golf course for example.

The flags on the back of The Liberator move quite nicely in the wind as well. But I think MrWhiskers meant that there is no actual wind in the game so we can't really say that they're moving with the wind realistically. Not that it really matters.

I think he means, how do you know which way the wind's blowing :)

The Liberator has wavy flags too.

I don't know if this has already been said here but I noticed that there are atleast two (haven't found third yet) Devin Weston houses in SA. Second one is in Winewood Hills at the lake. Very good view to the city and if ever they make all the houses sellable, that would be house I want!

Eating snacks while in cover mode is one of the most important survival techniques to learn. I'm surprised that hasn't been fixed.

"if its not broke, dont fix it"

thing i noticed: everyone f*cking haaaaaaaaaaaaates adders. no matter what color they are.

chadders, fine, blow them up. but when people blow up regular or specially painted adders just because it is one.. thats just being a hater. too broke to afford the fat ugly car, so you gotta blow it up.

shame.

I actually like Adders but I don't own one..not sure why, not a huge fan on super cars either way...except for the vacca just because I love the look of it...have a Zebtorno for racing and a Turismo...not a fan of anything chrome really...some secondary chrome is nice. Don't know why the hate on Adders. :/

It was one of the first things I mentioned - being able to see the whole map when inside - and someone pointed out that it was shame you couldn't see the map when in LSC (and i agreed) in case there was anyone outside waiting for you...turns out you can view the map from inside LSC...just found that out 2 mins ago. :)

Catch up gets noticeably stronger with more players in the race. It's sooooo aggravating.

"Back"

It says "Switch View" on the map, that's the giveaway ;)

You can also switch session or engage Passive Mode whilst in LSC by using the Start > Online menu. No need to exit into Beirut if you don't want to.

I just noticed that the Sultan is actually pretty quick.. It's not a good car for racing, but I underestimated that car for so long. :p
