I'm convinced who ever is responsibly for the NPC traffic in GTA V/O is heavily trolling us. This becomes especially apparent if you're delivering an I/E car and NPC vehicles driving in the left line are going to instantly turn right across one or more lines just to bump into you for example. It's like they're deliberately trying to scrape off some of the profit your going to make.

I'm starting to wonder if one of the reason why cars seem to hit you so much in I/E is because cars pretty much have a 100% chance of turning onto another road when given the chance to surprise players driving fast.

Get on your tin foil hats boys.

I'm quite sure they're programmed to hit you at basically all costs if possible. This again becomes apparent when you've crossing traffic. Sometimes vehicles even exceed their given max. speed to hit you (most obvious with things like campers, the taco vans or trucks).

We all know this game is an exaggeration of the real world in which many drivers act like they're alone on the road but for my taste this is way too much.

Same goes for the traffic going nuts when just a single shot is fired somewhere in the vincinity. I mean it's totally "gaga" how they react, hitting sh*t left and right, turning into oncomming traffic and so on. Don't get me wrong. It's understandable that they'll try to get away somehow but they're literally making themselfs a target with their headless (re)actions and then often play head against steering wheel just to permanently honk the horn afterwards (=dead).

Yeah the npcs are definitly made to go after you during import/export.

I had a truck waiting at a traffic light in east los santos. He stoped in the right turn lane and i stoped behind him. The traffic lights turned from green to red and back to gree, he did not move a centimete for 2 minutes. But as soon as i tryed to overtake him on his left side he instantly turned left.

^ If you turn by the bank to go up the hill for a sale, there's crossing traffic at the next lights that travels at impossible speed. I got t-boned by a Tornado moving faster than that car has ever gone in the game before.

Reminds me of the Supplier in Los Santos connection, watch him take off like he's got JATOs.

Or the npcs in chumash who wait for oncoming, left turning traffic. Npcs on the freeway who literally "glide" to the side from the left lane to the right lane like they get pulled by a string

Might just be new to me(?), but I've never seen these NPCs before:

* A guy presumably doing real estate photography(?) [for an upcoming Mansions DLC? j/k]

photo_shoot_npc.png

* R*'s sense of humor, putting a smoking NPC right in front of a no-smoking sign

These paparazzi are around since ages. You can find them standing in front of the rehab center at certain times for example. Presumably to take photos of some wasted starlets.

If you guys would play a little more SP you'd know. ;)

Just noticed I get my $1000 back from Lamar when the mugger can't find the target ( or as*hole or motherf*cker, as Lamar calls him).

yeah being like that for ages.

back in the day, the mugger would steal only a max of 2k from players, if the player had no money, you had to kill the mugger to get your 1k back. if the player had money you would get 2k deposited in your account.

they later raised the money cap to 10k and changed it into the current state, where you get a refund if the target is not found, but if the target is found you have to go and kill the mugger if you want to get the money.

In the first few days of online the mugger had no cap, he could steal whatever was in the wallet, even 100,000

You could also share however much money with whoever you wanted

Non Funkable Token

The office computer shows a higher sell price for the special items than the warehouse computer.

Dunno if it's a bug but it's annoying.

On the "progress" tab, under the stats, you have a list of really odd things to do, one of these things is filling up a Titan with players and fly around.

And apparently I still haven't done this in my whole lifetime playing this game.

...Now, how an I supposed to fill that raggedy ass plane with 30 players????

When you press the left thumbstick while driving you look back and you character will look in the rear view mirror. However do this in a Roosevelt and your character will not even try to look at the mirror as there are none.

Neither did I know they flip you if they get on top of Armoured Boxville during Fortified :p

IIRC it's either 10 or 16.

Edit - wikia says 10. Miljet is 16.

A Titan can eat you at any moment.

I don't blame the Titan, your Rocket Voltic looks tasty.

Not sure what prompted me to learn this, but I just found out that a pile of sticky bombs placed on an open fire will not explode.

Perhaps an important FYI for those of you not savvy in the realms of GTAO pyromania.

^^ Yet they WILL explode when thrown into (or even held while walking through) the stream of water gushing out of a fire hydrant... *sigh* yet another one for the "Worst of R* Logic."

[if Dat Saintsfan is reading, I recommend this for one of the top 10].

Jesse is in online.

Found him shooting some npcs in Downtown. You probably think he was placed there by a modder, but it was a solo public lobby that nobody had joined since i made it. I also drove by there a few times earlier and he was not there. Ly8Cla9sj0CjLQeLgkv4zw_0_0_small.jpg

Has something happened to the sniper? Feels like I've been exploding more aircraft lately.

I think it was always that way : like the PS heist , you can destroy a Savage with sniper shots

If you mod the Police Roadcruiser (North Yankton Police Car) into Single Player, people will comment on how 'it's a nice car' as if it was a sports car

Speaking of which, there's police scanners for every single online vehicle (or at least the original as far as my testing went). Maybe they were gonna be in SP?
