Found out Passengers slow your vehicle down.

Only motorcycles.

 

It affects cars but motorcycles are way more noticeable.

Come on R&C, this is one of the friendlier threads on GTAF, we get together and share things we didn't know about GTAO. Your sarcasm sticks out like a sore thumb here.

 

Knocking people who post things you did not know and that you do not think are important is the exact opposite of what this thread is about. You will only discourage people from posting here.

 

On the other hand, we could just all PM our posts to you first so you can vet them for relevance then give us the nod whether it is OK to post them here or not?

Interesting detail, I believe bikes have the same affect as well.

Unfortunately full armored cars don't have considerable difference from the normal.

When you are in the Garage of the Rockford Plaza, and standing next to the northern Wall ,

you can be killed with Rockets from a Buzzard flying around you. WTF?!

 

Notice: The West and East entrance was clear, the Buzzard was in the North too...

 

 

Yet another unfixed issue/bug with various buildings throughout the map (disconnected 3D geometry?). Missiles can also be fired at certain angles right through the Life Invader building...not a surprise, seeing as it's well known (on YouTube anyway) that you can even fly a Hydra into it (albeit very carefully/slowly), giving you access under the map.

I always thought my car felt slower and heavier with a passenger but I put it down to placebo, seems I was wrong to.

I am truly amazed that having more passengers in your car reduces speed. Makes sense. I only thought it was for motorcycles so this is new in my books

If my voice chat settings are limited to "Friends + Crew" and someone else's in the session is set to "Everyone", will I be able to hear him or not?

 

Haven't heard anyone actually talking throughout Free Mode so I'm genuinely curious, if there are players who do talk to eachother and I'm not listening or don't bother with the microphone and just use the chatbox (PC).

If yours is set to friends and crew, that is exactly who you will be able to hear. Only your friends and crewmates can hear you as well.

if you turn the passive mode on next to your Ruiner 2k , the 8 rocket tips in the front of the ruiner disappear (or re-emerge from the front-bumper if you turn the passive mode off again ) ... the animation is a looker

Tested this out to be sure - with Heists, R* added the feature whereby holding the 'enter vehicle' button down near the rear doors lets you board things like the side guns on the Valkyrie, or the Insurgent Pick-Up turret. However, that only applied to the new vehicles, and didn't suddenly let you enter the rear passenger seats in sedans or whatever...

 

...except with one of the SecuroServ updates (not sure if E&OC, FAFF, or I/E), signing up as a VIP/CEO (not sure if this also applies to associates) lets you do this with (AFAIK) all vehicles with passenger seating or whatnot. Pretty cool, since it allows for things like pics/videos with characters in, say, the rear of the Stretch, without needing someone else to sit in the driver's seat first.
