In the VIP job Fortified, if you park the Boxville in the tunnel under construction and leave the location, after a while, the Boxville will be destroyed. The reason? The interior textures disappear and the Boxville falls into the water below the city. LOL

Which is weird, because the colision scripts should still be in place.

Reading the office clutter thread reminded me of one I had last night.

Was in my penthouse apt or whatever at eclipse towers and got a notification for "50$ for the cleaning lady" or something like that. Now this stuck out to me because for one, I hadn't seen it before (or at least hadn't noticed it), and two, it didn't pop up with the usual "300 for assistant, 350 for mechanic, 750 for properties" etc. When I do get the usual expense notifications it's only ever those three and it seemed like an odd coincidence that this one popped up on it's own while I was in this particular apt. Didn't think to take notice of the time of day at the time or I would see if it happened again under the same conditions.

Anyone able to shed some light on this for me?

Rockstar won't fix servers, because it discourages the player with a bad connection to buy shark cards instead...

Watch a female character in high heels drinking booze in your office - they have hydraulics fitted.

I recorded it, but Xbox says I didn't :/

You can now access the corridor inside the 2-car garage, which would lead to the apartment in a residential property; it has been locked for as long as I've been playing GTA. 6-car has always been open.

Edit: Ah, what the hell? Now I can't again. f*cking glitches. Ah well, at least Tails saw it.

Trackers are what make your car impervious to upside-down explosions. Lost a fully modded Futo because I skimmed over the tracker.

mmm im sure armor is what do that.

Insurance is what really makes a car impervious.

I found out recently the office assistant starts screaming and freaking out when there's a lot of sh*t going on outside (friend was in a hydra shooting the window at the level I was looking out of). I have the male assistant and he started yelling in spanish, caught me off guard and made me laugh a bit.

He is not spanish, he is italian. I've heard screaming: "Mio Dio" (My God) and "Mamma" (like Mario when dies: Mamma mía!)

what about " dios " as wikia mentions it ?

It happens to a lot of the original apartments/garages that have regular doors. The trigger for the animation wont happen and you can run out of the door.

The high end apartments have an entire hallway, with more doors, and an elevator. I believe there is some pics on the walls and a plant or something. Fully done up, never to be seen.

Yep. I have read the wikia, but I have never heard of it in Spanish. Or at least, not in a normal Spanish :D. But he said 100% "Mio Dio" and that I understood it to perfection.

It is. He was just implying that that's the only way to keep your car, even if it does get blown up.

Female characters with fully maxed stats run faster than male characters.

Proof?

Don't really think that's true otherwise when completely necessary during a gta race, sometimes players may have to run to the finish. It would be an unfair advantage of females were faster. From what I've seen, they're identical.

Female characters actually do run faster. Male characters however have more strength.

Oh wow, finally something I really didn't know about GTAO in this thread.

Dat sh*tfan just made a video on this, what a coincidence (ugh).

According to the german gta wiki, we have the assault mg as a prop inside the special cargo guncrates in our ceo warehouses.

The assault mg is a cut weapon.

I'm 100% sure that Armor does nothing to prevent a car from blowing up from upside-down situations. The tracker in GTA Online stops this.

Oddly enough, the Tracker for your Story Mode characters' cars does nothing at all; you can still die with an upside-down explotion in Story Mode.

I found out yesterday you can use the little car washes, not just the main one near Benny's. 3 years.

TBF I don't give a f*ck about them, but there's still stuff I haven't found out.

lets make sure im getting the right info before testing...

the theory is that in gtao, doing a flip and landing on the roof, wont cause a explotion if the vehicle has a tracker, is this the right theory?

Wrong, very very very wrong.

Armor increases the height the car can fall and land on its roof without exploding. Exceptions are most if not all special vehicles, both Insurgents and the armored Kuruma. Those can fall any height and not explode.

The game only has two usable car washes: The main one near Benny's and the stripclub, and the other one right besides the ammunation in Little Seoul.

There are more car washes spread around the map but you can't use them, and most of them seems to be abandoned.

Well, in my experience, I've always been blown up by landing on the roof in an NPC car, but not with a car which has a Tracker fitted. This does include Pegasus Vehicles.

You can try it out yourself! :D Take an NPC car, add 100% Armor on, drive off of a cliff, and land on your roof. You will most likely blow up no matter what. If you try this out with a Personal Vehicle, it will simply not blow up; no matter how much you try. Sure, you will dent it and make it smoke a lot, but it will never instantly blow up.

I am pretty sure I have blown up plenty of Tracked PV's landing them on their roofs.

I am 100% sure I have done this in Stunt Races, a different 'environment' though so this may not count though.

I thought the original point was that PV's do not 'die' if you leave them abandoned upside down as an NPC would. For example if you leave an PV upside down after a few minutes you can flip it over with another car and get back in it and drive away. If you do this with an NPC car, if you leave it too long before you flip it over you will not be able to access it to drive it.

Having said all that though my memory is hazy, I may well be taking mixed memories from previous GTA games rolling them all into one pile of crap

Yes, Stunt Races and normal Races have the PV Tracker removed, and thus you can be blown up by landing on your roof there; but not in Freemode or missions :)

Regarding your other claim, I dunno  I haven't heard of that before, so I might wanna test this some day :D

Apparently we dont receive invites sent from phone contacts for contact missions anymore, atleast not like how it used to be.

Instead now my secondary character is receiving tons of invites from Martin and Dom for stunt races and sh*tty adversary modes, even though I dont have them on my contact list and I haven't played a mission for them.

Immersion ruined, nice job R*!

I can see good ways of this being used. Maybe a little game where you drop a sticky bomb next to an idling player and driving as far as you can (all the way up to Paleto Bay for example), then blowing it up there if they haven't come back by the time.

Also, Pyrerealm gaming does a lot of these kind of videos and, unlike those moneywhores on youtube who take 10 minutes to do something that should actually take at least 1 minute, he does it entirely for the fun of it and not the money. You'll find quite a few cool tricks and tactics with his stuff so I definitely reccomend watching some of his guides.

Woah(!) first time I've heard of this--sounds like material for the Next DLC Speculation thread? (if not already speculated over?) Wish there were some screenshots; would be interesting to see.

Although I'm very pessimistic about it happening in my lifetime, I could see R* someday unlocking this content...

...just not for some vehicles; one of which is the Insurgent (mentioned this before; my apologies to those who've already seen it):
