If you accept a Heist invite while doing a CEO mission in empty freeroam lobby and exit the heist lobby again, you will be placed in the same lobby you were previously, where the mission is still active and no other players present.

It does beg the question, though, of why there's a last gen sub spawning on a next gen platform?? woah!

It's not actually a "last gen sub", but the Kraken is only available on current gen (hence the bit of confusion there). The sub we've always had from day 1 does spawn as it always did, but you need to buy a Kraken if you want to access one.

After parachuting to a random hillside near the Humane Labs coastline, I spotted something yellow in the water in the distance.

Low and behold, it was a Kraken submarine! I had no idea they spawned online.

 

I traveled down, but it's such a remote place that it was too far to dive to anywhere interesting and there wasn't much to see underwater.

Still, a wonderful discovery. Must check again to see if it repeats. Cheers!

The kraken accelarates noticeble faster (IMO) and is way more maneuverable, I love it ! I am considering to buy one, only thing holding me back is the lack of animals n online...

Yeah I will admit the lack of animals kind of kills some of my incentive to cruise around in a sub. It's not a huge deal but it is disappointing as someone that enjoyed the wildlife in RDR and V.

There's a NPC actually using an arc welder on one of the train cars in the mirror park railyard (by textile city and Trevor's warehouse for series a). I spotted him around 11 am, the purple spark caught my attention.

OT: If your car crashes when going inside your office garage, it will automatically correct itself and drive in, which I thought was pretty cool.

Didn't know the Duke O'Death is already in Online. You get it in the session challenge 'Moving Target'. Not storable, of course, but you can still drive it for 10 minutes.

Yep. Also, it also appears in Wastelander's vip work, on the back of the truck, along with the Go Go Monkey Blista and Space Docker.

He's using a torch at least...doesn't appear to be attached to anything.

Touched on this before, but also interesting that some details were apparently forgotten or left incomplete (different locations) in the haste to finish the release of GTA Online, such as two different kinds of handicap signs--one w/incorrect logo (also backwards and off-center), the other correct:

I'm sure this is well known but I found out today that the office clutter (crate goods + floor cash) does in fact follow you when buying a new office.

Yep, agree. Got one for my secondary character, didn't suit her so I blew some dosh and Bennyfied it. Yeah, it's a little slower but I have no regrets. Thing is sexy AF! In fact, I liked it so much I bought the standard one for my main. Gotta say, over $500,000 on 3 bikes and mods well spent

Yep, agree. Got one for my secondary character, didn't suit her so I blew some dosh and Bennyfied it. Yeah, it's a little slower but I have no regrets. Thing is sexy AF! In fact, I liked it so much I bought the standard one for my main. Gotta say, over $500,000 on 3 bikes and mods well spent

It looks good, but not 130,000 good.

And its performance sucks a lot, even the Double T leaves it behind.

 

I bought it because of the Premium Race, but then I saw that nobody was playing the race because they are not aware the Bennified version is not allowed to race, or just dont want to spend money on it.

 

Worse buyers remorse I had so far, sold it.

I've always wanted to find out if it was possible to die by smoking some cigs. Turns out, it's definitely possible to hilariously kill yourself via cigarettes. But the surprising thing about it is that it doesn't say that you committed suicide. It just says that you died, as if some other NPC killed you or something.

I'm not sure if this has been said already, but you can avoid being chased by the Fort Zancudo jet when you steal a Lazer by looking back until you leave the base. That way you don't allow him to spawn.

Correct, or an armed vehicle like the turret limo/insurgent pickup/technical/whatever.

 

The fastest way to get into the guns on those is to climb on the roof and press Y though.

I saw a shooting star for the first time tonight, two in fact one followed the other. Not sure if it's a known thing or not but I captured it on video if needs be.
