I mean I knew about it, but I didn't "Know", about it. I had no idea it was so easy to get in the CEO option. I can literally grief people with this like there is no tomorrow. It's almost unfair to a extent.

 

I've already had three people bitching at me about it.

I just realised that the scanner (light bar thing) on the front of the Ruiner 2000 moves with the RPM of the engine and/or the speed of the car. Said scanner also makes a sound similar to that of K.I.T.T's one if you leave the Ruiner idling for about 10 seconds. It sounds almost the same, but it's a bit slowed down.

An annoying thing:

 

If your CEO sets a specific style (eg., Jefe), you cannot wear (or access) additional body armor, if you're say, getting shot the f*ck up from the back of a Phantom Wedge. Died the first time flailing away trying to wear said imaginary armor.

It's really effective against jets if you pair it with a sniper rifle if one's giving you trouble, too. #1 technique for taking one out besides the VIP ruiner IMO.

Just found out that in-game distance measurements aren't automatically tied to your console region anymore - at some point, GTAO switched from using miles to km, because 'UK', even though in the UK, we use miles for driving. Nice to be able to change that back!

Just noticed the rappel feature from the Merryweather heli pickup works again on all roofs! Or maybe it never stopped working but I didn't see the option for the longest time. Either way I'm happy!

Well, if i had knew before i would have trown a gas grenade instead of riddling him with bullets like i did for a more fitting end, but then again, NPC's aren't really standing still in this game when you want them in general.

I saw a NPC driving a Panto once, unfortunately didn't take any pic. It's very rare and you can't store the car.
Never saw it again in the traffic.

A lot of DLC cars can be seen driving around the port area of LS. Pigalles, Pantos, Rhapsodies can be seen. Also Blista Compact, Dukes and Stallions can be seen in that area too.

 

Unfortunately the game will kick you out of these cars for whatever reason. I believe the Stallion and Dukes can be driven, but every other car will instantly boot you from it and not let you get back in.

That about the location is right (Dutch London Street) but you can also find some of them driving on the main street at Vespucci close to the beach sometimes. About the "accessing" I'm not really sure anymore. It rather seems to be tied to what cars you actually own yourself. I mean I've a Pigalle for example and I'm perfectly fine with taking one from the street and driving around in it. The only thing I can't do is to sell, upgrade or store it.

You can collect Air Checkpoints in a Ruiner. Maybe all vehicles? Not sure.

 

 

Because the R2k has the lock-on warning tone unlike other cars, I suspect it's half car half aircraft in some ways.

The other way around is not possible though, tried collecting the "normal" checkpoints in a Buzzard once; it wouldn't let me.

Sometimes the closed blind in the kitchen of stilt houses (those with a garage on this side) glitches open and you get to see the view through the garage interior and under the map; this is 2117 Milton Road:

 

 

When I started reading this I was thinking "but I've always been able to see out the kitchen window..." then I realized you were talking about a specific address which likely has the interior mine does not. Yeah that's pretty weird.

 

Although speaking of weird, the other day I hit up the gun range and when I finished and it loaded me back into the game I spawned inside the target area. Hadn't had that happen to me before, had to kill myself to get back out.

So I saw this movie a couple a days ago, where a deal has gone wrong...

A hunter finds a couple of trucks with drugs surrounded by dead bodies. Then he finds a case with a chunk load of money in it, and gets chased for it later on.

The movie was called 'no country for old man'.

 

So what has this to do with gtav ?

Well, there is a random event called 'deal gone wrong', which looks (at least to me) verry similar to the movie...

 

Some trucks surrounded with bodies, a case with money a bit further, and you get chased if you pick it up o_0.
