(In Online) There's several garages around LS that open and let you park in them and do nothing more than act as a parking place. The house from the Epislon program where you deliver cars is one, one inside the Lost's yard (on the right side right as you come into the lot), gta-5-map.com has it labled as 6058 Vinewood Hills, and the garage attacthed to Travor's trailer. These places also apply to Story Mode.

When you pass very closely a truck with trailer on it , your camera will go up and down for maybe half seconds

If it's not floating, it's not floating. If you just full throttle into the water or land on it you don't float. It does'nt feel like floating either, I'm just trying to make clear it does'nt actually float before people try to crash their cargobobs into the ocean

The waves push the vehicle up, you can lean the vehicle while not touching throttle or brake and it will cruise along the surface of the water in the direction you try and lean. As long as the engine is running and you dont press L to decend it will stay there 'floating'.

 

It's floating for semantics sake.

So, if I hold a tv level with the top of the water, it's floating??

my point was that it doesn't matter

for all intents and purposes it is floating

any1 arguing otherwise is just being a smartass

 

you could probably quote another dictionary or science text book and with a few logical leaps and bounds prove me wrong.

but that would stupid and pointless, whoever first said the chopper could float knew what he meant, the people reading knew what it meant and even the smartasses trying to argue otherwise knew what was meant

but them being smartasses they just couldn't keep their mouth shut!

Right now Coveted is glitched, if you jump into the water your character will fall right through it and land on the ground belo the water's surface.
Done that a lot yesterday, Got my PV there and went exploring the depths of the ocean, but since I was in a mission, the snapmatic wasn't saving any pictures...

Probably well known, but in Ammunation, there is the option to buy all ammo for each weapon/type of weapon.

 

Click on a weapon, click X to 'toggle' and then buy ALL AMMO.

Except throwables... Annoying.

 

Although if you look through the various weapons in a given category, you will notice varying prices against the 'All ammo' item... Purchasing the lowest of these is a good way to save a few dollars (at least that's the way I see it anyway?). For example, full ammo on the Micro SMG will be cheaper than any other SMG -- however purchasing the Micro SMG ammo will "fill" the ammo for every other SMG too.

 

Unless I'm just being dumb, I guess it's a glitch but I have always noticed it since day one.

 

It's not always the lower weapon that is cheapest though; for instance, the Heavy Sniper costs less for me to fill than the regular Sniper.

 

Also (somewhat unrelated), I got the Patriot Parachute Smoke for free. When I went to Ammunation after 1.15, I checked the Parachutes section and the Patriot smoke was already purchased and equipped. I also own every other smoke (though I don't see how that would be relevant).

I love finding these, though I rarely find ones which can close while you are inside. There's one in an alley way near the West coast of LS that I can close by climbing onto my car and jumping towards the door, thus "pushing" it down -- though I must keep running against the door in order for it to close.

 

There is another behind a bank right in the centre of town that closes if you stand against the wall right at the back of the garage.

 

Simeon's export garage at the docks can also be accessed in single player (I don't recall whether this was ever story-related though?).

Yes. They don't have a great layout; a row of 4 at the front. with a row of 2 at the back.

 

There is a huge space around the workstation in the corner -- much more than the equivalent space in the 10 car garage but without so much as a rug (as you can see).

 

Apart from that, I always thought the smaller garages looked sweet.

Yes it is. I wish 10 car garages looked like this. I'm a car guy IRL, hell just got done swapping a new Shortblock into my WRX this passed weekend, and this is definitely more like a real garage. That pretty white walls and floor sh*t isn't possible in a real garage!

The thing I hate the most about putting PV's on the train? If you get off the train, the train will only carry your vehicle for a few feet then it glitches out. I was hoping to use the train as Delivery system to a buddy of mine that wanted to drive my Bati 801 one day. Put it on the train, only for it to fail a few seconds later
