Found out yesterday there is a tab which shows "progression" on GTA Online, with goals like filling up a Titan with players and so forth. I want to do it, but it's never going to happen.

I see some NPC Cubans flying over at quite low altitude for the last two weeks. Don't know whether or not they're triggered by other players requesting ammo/crates or just random

Most likely the "Air Drop" CEO Buy mission, with the flares. That's a Cuban doing the dropping.

dont think thats the case as theres no real plane doing the drops...

some time ago i was curious and decided to record a video of a air drop and while we can hear the sound of the plane, theres no plane flying by, the crates simply spawn in the air.

Hmm I was sure I'd looked up and seen a Cuban but that could just be a bullsh*t memory based on the noise they make. Still grinding out my SecuroServ trophy so I'll keep an eye out. Do you mean you went and looked in the editor after, or a gameclip?

i couldnt see it when i looked in the editor, just the crates spawning out of thin air.

After probably 20 buys yesterday I finally got a plane drop one and yeah no sign of an aircraft, just a soundtrack and a crate outta nowhere.

Could've sworn i've seen one before. Weird.

Maybe they've changed it recently, to save resources or something?

I don't have people under 18 on my list.

You're going to have to delete me and add me back in a few months then lol.

You aren't legally allowed to play this game. May i speak with your mother please?
She's not here, the game is babysitting me.

Who bought you this game? Does your dad know you're playing it?

In the US you can buy M-rated games when you're 17. Same with R-rated movies.

Edit: Also, not sure if you were kidding but I'd like to point out "legally" he can play the game just fine if he was under 17. He just wouldn't be able to go out and purchase it himself without a parent/guardian.

But he's a brit, and i doubt his mom likes him, murdering innocent people.

For all you know his mother was the one who purchased it for him while he was underage. Let his parents worry about it. Anyway this is way off topic so I vote we drop it.

On topic: I found out last night you can start Piracy Prevention while playing with a friend in an invite-only session. Just start it right as he becomes your associate/bodyguard and it'll work just fine. Before last night I figured Piracy Prevention would only work in public sessions.

Our mums like us here just as much as any other countries' mums do. Mine doesn't murder people either as far as I know.

its possible i did on ps3 where it was more risky due to not so effective passive mode.

you just need 10 players to fill the titan, so get a few friends and tell them to invite some friends, its totally doable.

Is this The Guy?

I haven't played the pacific standard heist in a while so I didn't know that waiting in the bank after the robbery was a thing now.

Could have saved me an armor and some ammo

yep, there are all kinds of methods for pacstan

staying in the bank while the others go to the bikes, blow them up, then one of the guys kill himself, on the screen choose to restart and everyone would spawn by the bikes, then one of the guys go and get the kuruma haha

pacstan is a cake walk if everyone know what to do!

You'd be amazed at how many parents I refused service to when I worked for Game because they were trying to buy GTA for their five year olds.

only 1 person has to go to the bikes. When 1 person goes, sometimes you don't even get the helicopters chasing you. (and way less cops)

But when that one person trigger the checkpoint, doesn't the other get a countdown timer to start moving before the heist fails?

^ On what platform? I tried it for the longest freefall challenge and it topped at 8K like everything else (barring zoom climbs).

No. Everyone gets the 10 min timer before the heist fails, but it doesn't (shouldn't) take more than 5-6 minutes to drive to the Dinghy.

^^ If you're the guy that has the cash and are waiting in the bank sometimes you need to pop outside then back in again or the mission will fail. Just wait till you're mates have killed all the cops outside so you don't lose any cash.

You will know if you need to run out or not by looking at the message at the bottom of you're screen when in the bank, if it doesn't change you need to pop out.

If you are in your garage and point the camera to the vehicle you want to drive (e.g. a sandking-filled 6 car garage) and press the "enter vehicle" button and your path is blocked, you'll teleport into it.

If you're doing the Pacific Standard Glitch the Hacker doesn't have to leave the bank at any time. The checkpoint triggers automatically for that position, so making the Hacker collect the money is a great failsafe to keep all the money until you get to the Kuruma.

This doesn't work for any of the other positions however, only the Hacker.

plus for the people running to the bikes to do the glitch, please wear a heavy combat vest!

no point in dying before the bikes have been blown up. (otherwise it fails without spawning at the bikes)

if you don't want to wear one then let the guy who does wear one do the glitch. (mostly me)

Anyone else aware of the writing scratched into the ground just coming off the bridge at the east LSC? It says "Pacific" ...possibly. I'm all about the Easter eggs...

Edit: Just to clarify...that is even IF this writing has any significance or is even part of an Easter egg at all...could be nothing. Only saw it today for first time as I zoomed in with the camera to photograph a dead cop. (I didn't kill him) :)

I wonder if theres a clue about the next GTA city in V...

Anyone remember the 'San Andreas' flight ticket in IV's Social Club?

To also add to Pacific Standard glitch tips; if only Crowd Control 2 the run, no one else, just Crowd Control 2. They will encounter far less cops and no helicopters on the way to the garage.

It makes for a much quicker and safer run. If you can't tell which crowd control is which, set the host as one of them and whomever the other crowd control is will be Number 2.

So they probably just went online and bought it like I did when I bought it for my 7 and 9 year old sons. ......then after having a go went out and bought myself an Xbox One & GTA5 so I could play it myself :)
