on entourage, if the time runs out, the target and bodyguard team can win by just surviving!

Has this changed? I know that when I played the first 3 entourages that when the timer ran out the assassins won. Maybe it's been changed with the addition of the 3 new entourages? Or does it just depend on whether all the bodyguards and targets don't lose a life.

experienced this yesterday, i was on the assasins team and managed to keep the target pinned in a location, i was expecting a W but says he won!

R* logic!

How can the ASSASSINS win, when their only goal is to assassinate the target and the target survives?!? Ever played Hitman?

More like "your logic"...

EDIT: The goal, that the target has to reach, is only there so the target can finish this mission without waiting for the time to crawl to 0...

assasins should win if time runs out because the bodyguard team failed to extract the target, on top of that when entourage was first released the bodyguard/target team would lose the round if they didnt reach the extraction.

assassins should win if they assassinate... its what the name of the profession already says!

And again: without an extraction point on the map, there would be no way for the target to end the session before the timer runs out!

A compromise would be: nobody wins if nobody reaches their goal. and maybe it was like that in the beginning, thats why things receive patches... (see my second sentence above, why i would patch this)

well I´m not sure if this should be well known or not , but at least I didn t know about this :

if you win with an "uncustomized" car , in a race where "custom" is enabled , you earn way more money , at least twice the money you would earn with a customized one .

my Proof : me and about 9 others , did the chilliad race yesterday where i finished second to someone who has an uncustomized Tyrus , just by 0.8 second or something, because I spun after the last jump before the checkered flag -and that happens in 90% of all my attempts- . that sucked , yeah , but I got 10K for that and the 1st got ... 44K .... 44K !!!!!

It doesn't work like that. More likely, he finished the race before 4 minutes, and you finished after. The payouts for the race works just like missions, where the longer you take the more money you earn, and while you lost money for coming second, you still got more because you spent more than 4 minutes on the race.

well we are talking about "chilliad Stunt race " here , it s only " 1 short Lap" , its impossible that it took us more than 4 minutes ! besides - like I said- he won it by a small margin , less than a second ... still managed the get 4x the money I got

EDIT : got my time : 2:36

If you're in a car on a hill, holding the hand break button for 1-2 seconds will, indeed, engage the hand break and the car will stop rolling.

Pretty mundane, but it's the small details that count

Yeah they go bowling together all the time.

I always thought that you had to be touching the ground to call the mechanic but you can do it while hovering a couple of feet above the ground and he'll pick up.

I've never heard the LSPD be so aggressive until yesterday.

Running with sirens (including the Buy Mission Boxville with the silent one) will drastically reduce the amount of verbal abuse you get while driving like you stole it.

This is worth putting up with everyone panic braking around you for IMO, because I swear it's doing bad things for my subconscious having all those insults hurled at me constantly. I wish there was an NPC volume setting, I'm sick of hearing the same f*cking things over and over.

+1

Might sound crazy, but an ejector seat in perhaps, a future "spy" car could add some interesting game play! (And yeah, I'd sure buy it--though R* might have some misgivings about all the potential breaches/glitches it might enable?) lol

Should be very easy to do though, seeing as various jets already have them--and they work well.

Yup can be a nice fun change of pace. I've had some good matches but most players leave after a few go's

Edit: I'll invite all players to my office and just sit on the couch waiting for player2

I just read in another thread that being drunk makes you take less melee damage. Might test later

I forget when I figured this out, maybe a few months ago, anyway I'll share in case it helps anyone else.

In LSC when looking at different exhaust options for a car, it can sometimes be hard to see exactly what the exhaust tips look like because of the smoke coming out. But you can get rid of the smoke, and make it easy to clearly see the exhaust tips, by revving the engine. On PS4 this is the R2 button, the default accelerate button. It's probably similar on other systems.

Apparently it is possible to trick the game into spawning pegasus vehicles where they aren't supposed to normally appear. I still have to try to replicate the conditions that apparently cause it, but I hypothesize it can happen when you are close enough to an already called-in vehicle to keep it from despawning but not so close as to be in sight of it yet (or something similar).

For instance, here is an example from a while back of accidentally spawning a Rhino on top of the hospital helipad when I changed the vehicle I was trying to spawn from a chopper to a tank during a mission. Note how when I go to call in the tank the icon very briefly appears at the normal spawnpoint to the north, but almost immediately jumps to the nearby helipad where the chopper was supposed to spawn.

If anyone else happens to know what is going on, do share.

I don't Remember if I or someone else mentioned this already, but You cant detonate Sticky bombs anymore inside Garages ... I used to use this method to get rid of cars that I didnt want anymore. Usually if they were not insured or i had to wait for the LSC Cool down.

That feature was removed on the Xbone/PS4/PC version. Least i know it is for a fact on the PC, pretty stupid.

That's winning a game of "Don't cross the line" right?

A friend and I tried it, and I unlocked the shirt after the first game (I won), and he didn't. Next game I let him win and he got the shirt.

Still works on ps4 too. Seems only pc has given up this 'feature'...

Yes, it does not work on PC. The accelerate button (W) doesn't rev the engine but goes through the menu - as does the arrow keys.

Even with a controller it doesn't work.
