Sultan RS has stock rims that can be painted, but not in LSC or Benny's. Had to mod-transfer it from PS3 to PS4.

You can duck while in cars and operating turrets like insurgent for instance if u hold X(ps) or A(xbox)

 

Right on D-pad when you're on a turret.

The <5% store discount you get from being commended by other players counts even counts towards the cost of upgrading a car to a custom version at Benny's - that's why some folk are reporting that the Sultan RS conversion cost them $795,000, where others say that it *only* cost them $755,250 or whatever.

I have the store discount of 5%, yet I still had to pay the full amount for the upgrade. This is also true for my lowrider upgrade...

 

Yeah - I've got some kind of store discount (super heavy armour costs me $480 or something like that, not the full $500), but when I went to Benny's with my Sultan, the upgrade cost me the full $795k.

 

The plot thickens - or maybe it's just not working 100%. I dunno...

Could be - I know that both GTASeriesVideos and Broughy bought them from the website, but GTASeries might not have a commendation discount for the character they used in that video.

 

That'd mean that currently, the permutations are (possibly) as follows:

 

1. Broughy: 5% discount, bought car = discount at Benny's

 

2. GTASV: No discount (?), bought car = no discount at Benny's

 

3. Me: #% discount, stolen car = no discount at Benny's


So in theory, if I buy a Sultan from the website, it should be the same as #1, and I get some kind of upgrade discount - therefore, discounts only apply to bought cars.

Will test this when I get on tonight - a new Sultan only costs one contact mission payout, after all!

It was a while ago now but basically I'd go to one end of the SS runway and call one in, then sit next to it and call another one. It's a combo of the new spawn points and the ability to phone for a new one without destroying the old. I moved them off the spawn points and into a nice line.

 

IIRC the last one would be "reclaimed" but when a new one appears the queue moves up a bit and they turn into generic vehicle props. So you'd always have n-1 available.

That could come in handy while doing "Criminal Damage", time to try this out.

I had no idea that they fixed the Kuruma bug on Pac Standard.

 

The Maibatsu Kuruma is now unlocked as soon as it's taken out of the garage and everyone can get in it fast.

This probably also counts for SP but I've only just noticed that NPCs comment on the weapons that you are currently holding.

 

I've had two instances where NPCs have yelled out things along the lines of "oh sh*t, grenade launcher!" or "that's a f*cking minigun!" during firefights.

Right on D-pad when you're on a turret.

 

That's to dismount the turret and go inside the vehicle.

I'm talking about ducking for cover while operating the turret without going inside the car.

However, same works if you are seated inside a vehicle, you character will duck for cover

Unfortunately Rockstar was onto this before launch and there's a 5 min cooldown while CD is coming/active

 

I just pray like f*ck they don't add this all the time, like they did with the worked-fine-for-2-years-you-c*nts Request PV function.

A fun thing to do when extremely bored, go over to the train bridge by sandy shores, make sure you don't have a parachute and jump off.

Your character will do that diving animation and will actually survive the fall despite the water being a bit shallow, then he gets carried by the stream and falls down the waterfall and still survives.

Then you can see his body doing some crazy movements below the water (just like when getting carried by any other water rapids).

I captured video of that but can't get it out of the PS4. Technology are hard.

The felon does it TOO much. You can flip this car on just about anything.

Didn't someone say that if you upgrade a Sultan that you owned before the update, then it will sell for less than if you upgraded a Sultan that you bought after the update from Benny's website?

 

Could it be related to that? Maybe only Sultans/Banshees bought from Benny's website are eligible for the 5% discount?

 

Actually If you bought a sultan from benny's webstie and upgraded it will sell more than the one you find on the street

I had a cop yell this at me the other night after attacking an armored truck and continuing to chase a bounty that was near. I got pinned in trying to escape in a damn peyote, so I hopped out with grenade launcher in hand. The cop yelled, "is that f*cking grenade launcher?" and then shot me in the face with his shotgun. I thought it was funny as sh*t.

If you walk to the yellow corona in Meth'd Up instead of driving the RV into it, the two guys there will thank you, and then walk over to the RV and get in, but this doesn't complete the mission. If you try to get in again, you end up sat in the back. If you then throw the driver out, he disappears, as does the RV when you finally take it to the delivery point.

Looking at that Felon clip, it reminded me that the Habanero is by far the best car for driving on 2 wheels. Basically any curb can make it go on 2 wheels if you're turning.

It's really fun to do, but it can be hard to do if you don't find a good location, as it's still very easy to turn too much and it will simply slide and stop or roll over.
