jerry cans explode and make a fire around blast radius when shot.

 

I didn't know you could set them down. How do you do that?

Hold R1 to make the weapon wheel appear and change to jerry can ( where you have all your explosives, sticky bombs etc..) dont select the jerry can, go to the jerry can and you will see that you are able to drop the jerry by pressing triangle than pull out a gun and shoot it= explosion

 

This another example of a wasted option in this game. I'm assuming gamers were supposed to be giving eachother weapons and such in MP because of this drop function. But of course it never came to be because everyone owns everthing in the game already.

We can drop our weapons and ammo on the ground, but we can't put custom tires on stock rims, or remove bulletproof tires. wtf? And repairing a crumpled wreck cost $414, but $12,000 to replace at MM.

Good thing they still have the ATM's in the GPS menu! What would I do without it!!?

I think you can put custom wheels on stock (i think im wrong) but buy a new pair of wheels put custom wheels on them and then go back to stock wheels.

And i tried to remove BP tires but nahh didnt work..

Yesterday I was trying to stance some cars for the 1st time, and I noticed sometimes when you're shooting the wheels, a fluid will start pouring out of the bottom of the car. Not sure if it was gas, but today I noticed it coming from the front right tire of a Bullet.

 

Anyways, it's time to stop shooting when this happens. lol

 

EDIT:

After the fluid stopped pouring out, I tried driving the car again. I was still able to get inside it, but didn't even try to start it. He just sat there in the car. Apparently out of gas! (Or some kind of fluid) lmao

I learnt that if you stop at a red light next to a car, hold the handbrake and rev the engine, the NPC in the car next to you will race you.

Really? thats a game-changer right there!

 

This has been one of my favorite non-mission activities since the 1st GTA 3D. Back then I used to get a bike and fire a round at another NPC on a bike and then just try and keep up with him until he wiped out. Usually in spectacular fashion lmao! It was a blast.

 

But in this GTA, as mentioned. Many times I'll pull up next to a NPC in a supercar and rev my engine and burn out a little (Sometimes they even do it back!) Then it's off to the races with them! Just a few days ago I raced some guy in a Bullet all over the map as far up as Paleto Bay and we were on our way back down south through Vinewood Hills until he finally had a head-on collision and died.

I then dragged him out of his car and had a moment of silence for him lol.

 

​I usually also keep an eye out for NPC's driving like maniacs and chase them down. That's fun too.

I hate to add to speculation, but I saw a 'Opening Soon' banner at the casino. Unless that has always been there? I don't know.

Its always been there unfortunately... I'm staying really hopeful that they'll open it though...maybe they're going to save that feature for as long as possible because it will be huge.

 

i read a good argument against the online casino; because of the cashcard it would basically be a realmoney casino, and therefore gta would need some kind of a licence, since its also worldwide, it would be very difficult to get. they might be able to do it with limited bets, maybe.I had an opinion/argument similar to this...and it was only the other day that it dawned on me that there is betting in the game for racing so, as you said, maybe if they limit the amount you can bet per day or something...although, that could be a bit crap....I'd like the freedom to bet whatever I wanted.

Yep. R* still hasn't unlocked the new episode of Princess Robot Bubblegum.

 

Stuff I hadn't noticed until now:

 

- The only radio station with an actual broadcast building is Rebel Radio

 

- A bar from the Black Keys song, "Lonely Boy" plays during the one of the Station ID commercials for VBR, but the song isn't on the official playlist.

 

- A house that looks like CJ's mom's place is still at the end of the cul de sac on Grove Avenue, but the neighborhood is Ballaz turf instead of Families turf.

 

- If you own an expensive crib, one of the gold records in your planning room is for a song by Madd Dogg & the other is from OG Loc.

 

- Fufu does not wear the same outfit she does in Story Mode. Damn.

 

- If your session lags while you are near the hospital, the helecopters on the roof will sometimes explode and the wreckage will land in the street.

That would only be true if you could convert online money to real cash, which obviously you can't. It's not currency so there's no need for any gambling licence.

Can't believe I only just discovered this a few minutes ago; in the airport hangar next to the 'jump' entrance where the Luxor plane spawns, there's another way in, just next to the fuel tanker, which has a couple of double-doors leading to 2 rooms you walk through.

 

I wish there were a lot more extra little entrances & hidden places like this.

Great fun against the police heli's using a heavy sniper rifle, especially when you're hiding out on the ledge on the building next to Eclipse Towers where the police on foot/in cars can't reach you but the heli's can. You can survive there for quite a while with full 5 stars. Plus it's a good hiding spot when other players are out to get you, they often meet the nasty end of your guns

Be careful when you rest your Buzzard on water and shoot the rockets, they often hit the water and lose all momentum so they explode really close by (often close enough to explode you)

 

 

edit: That's just given me a thought! What if you use that technique to blow up people in subs?

Yesterday I was trying to stance some cars for the 1st time, and I noticed sometimes when you're shooting the wheels, a fluid will start pouring out of the bottom of the car. Not sure if it was gas, but today I noticed it coming from the front right tire of a Bullet.

 

Anyways, it's time to stop shooting when this happens. lol

After the fluid stopped pouring out, I tried driving the car again. I was still able to get inside it, but didn't even try to start it. He just sat there in the car. Apparently out of gas! (Or some kind of fluid) lmao

This is gasoline.

 

I got into a car with its back tires on fire and it wouldn't start but I kept trying as I rotated the camera to look around; I caught a glimpse under the car and saw the gas emptying out. I had just enough time to bail before it exploded. Pretty cool. Just noticed this, too.

I believe online casinos only have to have special licenses (whatever) if you can actually CASH OUT real life money. There are plenty of iPhone casino apps that let you buy $1million credits for $5...but you can't actually win any money or pull out real life cash.

 

GTA Casino would be fine in this sense.

 

It'll come after the heist update. It's going to be the next thing they hold out in front of players for 3+months. They'll release in fall when people are done with summer vacation stuff and are back to school and staying inside.

That's what I assumed also when I saw it pouring out behind the back driver side wheel, but then I saw it do the same out of the front wheel by the engine. And when I got in the car, this was the first time my guy didn't even try to start the car. He just sat there lol.

You can drop the jerry can and shoot it and it will explode. Also you can shoot it while someone is holding it to the same effect. Drop a grenade thru the weapon wheel and shoot ot ot will explode

when I try to do it, the jerry can just goes crazy and flies away at lightspeed

hard to explain but it doesn't explode, it just gets smacked away lol

only in online mode though

Faggio is actually meant to be pronounced Fa-joe not Fag-gee-oh

 

I've never really been able to get anybody to race me. They just speed away in anger/fear. It's the same when you make noise with your engine/horn around other drivers, regardless of traffic lights. If you do it within gang territory for long enough, you'll suddenly get a dozen little red circles on your mini-map and a whole lot of bullet holes in your ride.
