I'd not noticed this until ...earlier today - there's a new category under 'vehicle details' on the Social Club stats page:




'SUPER-MOD' - currently only applies to the basic versions of lowrider-convertable cars like the Faction and Chino (so for example, the Primo gets a tick for 'super-mod', but the Primo Custom doesn't).

This is a new addition - I'd been poking around the vehicle stats page recently, and I'm pretty certain it wasn't there even as recently as the Tampa being unlocked. Suspect it's been added because of the (rumoured) 'Lowriders part 2' update that's supposed to be coming - but what I really find encouraging is the generic 'super-mod' name, rather than 'lowrider mod' or whatever. Makes me optimistic that there'll be other, non-lowrider super-mods in future - tuners, hot rods, etc.

What about the Sabre Turbo? does it has that super mod checked?

^ Nope - neither does the Slamvan, but then again, R* don't add the really noticeable stuff until just after the stuff goes live in the game. For instance, the Tampa was unlocked hours before they updated the Social Club page to include it.

After 2 years and god knows how many times of bringing up my phone, going to bank website, depositing money, then backing out screen by screen with the A button, I have only just discovered pressing Y backs you out of all the way instantly. Not quite as fast but also useful is a quick push of the start button and then again does it almost as quickly.

Just found that with the computer hacking, you don't have to do the word one in order, you can press right/left to highlight a different column and do them in any order.

I had no idea you could use your mouse as a steering wheel. To activate/ deactivate you must be inside a car, choose "unarmed" and press the left mouse button for a few seconds. Unfortunately, I accidentally found that on the most inappropriate moments possible.

Only seems to happen in that particular piece of water in the big resevoir with the dam. Does it with grenades/rockets/sticky bombs etc., I discovered it during the snow but that's not a factor.

I've seen this too when ramming gas stations with my Insurgent.

It's easier to see in the ones right next to the sandy shores airfield.

The back of your yacht (the part under the flag) gets flooded by the sea in stormy weather.

 

Edit: Doesn't seem to happen at Vespucci Beach where my yacht is most of the time, but south of the LS Airport I witnessed it.

You must be completely out of ammo to collect the heavy weapons pick ups in your yacht.

 

If you sit in the arm chairs in the yachts bar, your charcter will start bobbing his head and fist bump to the music.

 

Now that double clutching is back, i got to use that at the same time as boost from GTA race. Best way to catch up to, or get ahead of the pack.

Now, if you turn your headlights off and do the same thing, the npcs react much slower if at all and crashes happen often.

 

Thought that was a neat touch

I've never noticed this, I'm curious to give it a try. That's one of those little things that really make this game amazingly detailed.

A Vigero will survive being driven off the Maze Bank Tower. I lost the door dropping it off at the top with the Cargobob.

 

 

p.s. I bailed out halfway down, and was very surprised to find it sitting in the street. Apart from a few wheezes from the front end, it was surprisingly drivable.

i knew R* had removed crate drops, thereby making it impossible for players to get the "LS Belle" t-shirt. i didn't know that in order to balance things out they ruined the shirt, for those of us that already had it, by making it so torso tattoos are now clearly visible through the shirt. looks like total sh*t. balance.

well , because bodyguard were suppoused to be tougher . the drawback is you need to be in VIP circle ( riding with VIP also helps for drive by )

from what i've see , it's highest durability attained in freemode ( VIP stats may not work on heist for combination of HU vest , if player were accompanied by VIP during a job ) .VIP also may use their status as trump card due with ability to spawn vehicles , armor and bullshark steroids ( up to 3 dropped item at time )

How did you get it in your garage?

 

just stumble randomly in blaine county ( the bobcat is on my 5th garage list ) but obviously the trailer will disappear upon leaving or spawning PV because trailer is separate vehicle

Note that is not true for motorcycles and Blazers. It can be very frustrating, because there is no discernible way that I can figure out to determine if you suicide or not over a particular drop.

If a motorbike is in the act of righting itself as you hit the ground, and it's nearly finished, then you can pretty much land any height. I've landed off the top of the Maze Bank tower on a Ruffian, just by holding the front wheel up slightly and letting go just before hitting the ground. That said, the higher you fall from the harder it is.

I had that happening back last winter just after transferring to PS4, shortly before they ruined it completely by moving the logo onto the back.

 

Should fix itself shortly.
