Not so much 'things you didn't know about GTAO' as Social Club, and it's pretty obvious, but still, hadn't done it before now:

 

You can't write the town 'Sc*nthorpe' in a Social Club wall post.

This probably doesn't count as it's in director mode and not online but with the current PSN maintenance I decided to play around in director mode and to my surprise I found a rat in the underground tunnels...

I did not know until today that if you just tap the L1 button (I think it was that) you will put away your weapon. I have been bringing up the wheel every time for years now.

Also if you're on PS4, you can swipe down on the touchpad and put it away I believe

I didn't know there were 2 fences at the LSIA where you can crash through.

And you can break every fence with a door, but the door won't break, so the space is just big enough to walk past the fences.

 

 

I know....the locations are far away from the roads, but it's better to have something, instead of nothing.

 

That must have changed in the past year because when I switched to PS4 I tested the whole airport and the only thing breakable was the fences around the doors and nothing other than a bike would fit. There's a small section north of the north gate that a marshall can break through and enter with but no other vehicles can jump the concrete.

I often wondered how consistent the fences were... It always seemed to me that sometimes you could smash 'em and sometimes you couldn't - I never really noticed a pattern relating to the type of vehicle or type of fence.

This is totally useless but I've also noticed that you can use the touchpad to cycle weapons while in LSC.

I got sentenced to bad sport same time when I was made the beast in freeroam activity. For a few seconds I had the beast mask with dunce cap. It switched to dunce cap and my normal face a few seconds later but I was still the beast and still in normal lobby. . Youre able to stay in the lobby for the duration after the BS sentencing

 

Just thought Id add this, rare that someone would be both the beast and dunce cap same time.

It used to be both full amount, but they made a change where it is split, I think -- I may be wrong.

^^ Been testing it with a friend. Someone has to shoot him for him to turn aggro. Once he starts, he won't stop.

 

And once he's out of players FoV, he will drive the tank at supercar speeds. Aaaaand, he's deadly accurate be it if you're flying or in a vehicle. Just like tanks in fort zancudo.

 

If he steals your buzzard, he'll fly for 10-15minutes straight out of the map. If you follow him, your plane/helicopters engine will die after a certain limit.

 

After 10 or 15?<Needs confirmation. minutes, Pegasus will text you informing you that your vehicle has been destroyed.

I'm going to have to try this!

It took me a while too, Retard, but it's a backwards facing bus stop.
