Tonight I learned that you don't have to pay insurance for ramming PV's with an insurgent until they explode.I was in passive mode, and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it...But yeah. Blew up like 5 PV's doing this tonight, including an Osiris. I wonder if the poor sap had to pay for the insurance. I sure hope so :)

No BS warning or anything.

The victim doesn't pay trust me

When a player in the lobby sat in my car and then left the lobby, the character walked out and promptly turned into a npc. is this the matrix?

Something like that, esp. considering they're bulletproof if you try and shoot them (don't ask me how I know that). lol

You can wear hats in the Phoenix; I thought only the Stratum allowed you to do that.

I noticed that a while ago. Players were leave just become NPCs. It's surely better than the player vanishing.

They'll despawn if they get out of sight of players, but until then they act like NPCs, right down to getting scared at gunshots or trying to fight players still in the lobby. Many a time when a friend left any of us left in the lobby harass their NPC character until they get killed.

At least their hair isn't turning green any more

In the description of the mission Landing Strip Lester mentions something about an apartment, possibly talking about the "future" heists.

"Some business associates of mine have come to me with a little market saturation problem. I need you to extract a plane loaded with rival product and deliver it to Sandy Shores Airfield. I'd advise taking along a sniper if I were you. Convince me you're professional and I'll have more jobs like this. Oh, and get an apartment, something with space to prep properly. I don't like mistakes."

I also remember he used to send us messages talking about getting an apartment.

Yup, my little lad will follow my character around for ages once I leave a session. Just to see what he will do. I have explained that he won't go to my apartment or drive my car but he just has to watch to find out...

Which gives me an idea, you know sometimes random NPC's become muggers of they are close to the target. I wonder if a players character who becomes an NPC could become a mugger, mug a player then drive off in their car?

Yeah and they gain a voice too (a standard NPC frightened one).

Good post and I noticed the same thing a few weeks ago, never remembered to ask about it on here though.

There's about 6 or 7 cars in the game whose front badges light up when you turn the lights on. I'm pretty sure that there were a few cars that did this in IV too.

The cars that do this I've seen:

- T20

- Cheetah

- Turismo R

- Stinger GT

- Carbo

- Zentorno

I believe the Casco does this as well.

It might just be the light from the headlights shining off the badge? I saw and tested this on a car once, might have been the T20 but I can't remember. Shot my headlights out then turned them on and the badge was dark.

Light sometimes clips through objects in this game. I'll try it out again later on.

Assuming you're on current-gen, test it out in the mine shaft (if it'll fit?)--best place ATM if you need solid dark. :)

I decided to randomly turn into the hotel in SP where you meet Josh Bernstein, the realtor, for his missions, I climbed up to the second floor of the hotel, and heard snoring coming out from the rooms when I was walking by each one. It was night time also, so that was pretty cool.

I'm pretty sure the Osiris also has a lit up badge.

Oh, just checked. Casco badge lights up if you turn on the lights.

I found a useful bounty hide-out, there's a ladder from the top of the clock tower near the pier that goes inside the tower to the ledge.

You can still be blasted by a jet though, I figured that out the hard way.

Landing Gear is a Ron mission.

You can't enter the airport through any fences any more, but if you're doing the Bail from a Moving Vehicle challenge at LSIA your car will happily end up outside the fences through the magic of Rockstar. Good luck getting it back.

Where's that middle finger emoji...

^ i find the airport is the worst place to attempt challenges like that^^

Everyone goes there thinking the wide open space will make it easier...

Problem is, everyone had that idea and are now headed there to pick up their hydra, proxy the ramp, etc.

-Zancudo's runway is longer (wheelie challenge)

-A nice gradual grassy slope will allow you to rag doll further while bailing at a lower speed (bailout challenge)

Edit

I Lol'd @ the pic Gridlock, sorry
