If you knock an NPC into the water off their Speedophile (near Palomino Highlands, near gang attack # 52) they might just swim for 20 feet, then...just...die. No clue how/why, esp. since he had a life jacket on:

 

 

I didn't shoot him, and barely hit his Speedophile with mine enough to knock him off. The other NPC, knocked off in the same way, just swam to a nearby rockface, stood up and started cussing me out as usual. lol

I didn't know until today that you can break the propellor off a plane without the plane itself being destroyed or damaged in any other way. Absolutely useless bit of information but hey I didn't know.

control their bikes whilst firing a gun with their right hand.

Older bikes historically did have left hand throttles, like old Indians. The Lost seem to be custom bike enthusiasts, so it might not be an error.

Tonight I learned that you don't have to pay insurance for ramming PV's with an insurgent until they explode.I was in passive mode, and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it...But yeah. Blew up like 5 PV's doing this tonight, including an Osiris. I wonder if the poor sap had to pay for the insurance. I sure hope so

I just realized that if you wait until the Merrtweather Helicopter pickup is still in the air you can rapple down instead of jump out and parachute.

If you try to attack a cop or security guard with hatchet they'll cacth your arm and shove you back and then pull their gun on you, I've only tried it from standing in back of them and it works 3/4 times.

I think this works with a lot of NPCs if you attack them with a hatchet or machete from behind. I've not tested it properly but it's happenned on a few occasions.

Yeah, my friend got so exited about this that she went and used the editor for this the first time lols. And yes, it would be a bad-ass counter attack, Like the reverse knife animation in battlefield.

I was changing the pearl on my Ruiner yesterday multiple times without having to get the primary resprayed, as in I left LSC and drove it round the block each time I changed it. I thought you could only do it in SP. One time I even got a scratch and had to repair it but could still change the pearl.

 

Can anyone shed any light on this? I checked with a different car later and it didn't work the same. Is there a particular trick to it or was it just random generosity from R*?

Were you doing anything else to it?

 

The glitch works in both singleplayer and online. If you have a paintjob you want to put a pearlescent on (metallic, classic, matte, metal, chrome) you select "metallic" but don't purchase anything, then back out and buy a different licence plate, then go back and you can put a pearlescent on.

Good call, I've used that glitch on a couple of cars but I never thought of doing it to change the pearl cheaply. I shudder to think how much money that would have saved me if it had! All I was doing yesterday was changing the pearl, driving round the block then changing the pearl again, no other customisations.

The Cheetah has a myriad of weird horns, including Virgo horn from GTA IV, chopper horn, unused Brickade/FIB Buffalo horn from TBOGT. The same set of horns applies to Entity XF.

When a player in the lobby sat in my car and then left the lobby, the character walked out and promptly turned into a npc. is this the matrix?
