Spawn Location < Hotel >

..wait, what?

When you start a new character and they don't own an apartment they have a hotel room to spawn too, usually it's the big building in between Legion Square and the location of Rooftop Rumble

So not something a level 125 should be seeing then; something seriously screwy is going on today.

It defaults back to hotel after you sell a property. Then disappears when you scroll through the spawn options.

You gotta go pretty fast to get him killed though? Or it has to be a really low level player.

Really fast or really bulky vehicle, the vehicle eject has been slowed down to make this more difficultthe Franken stange does not have this problem. It's like a god damn ejector seat is in the thing.

I jump from moving cars quite a bit, don't ask why, but the leap from the the frank is quite impressive I must say.

Does anyone else think ill gotten gains is a reference to all the last gen money glitching? Just thought about this.

I just perceived it as all the money you were supposed to be raking in during those 2x heist events. Or was that after IGG1/2? I wasn't playing much GTA:O at that point in time.

I doubt it but that would be funny if that's what R* was saying to us

Part 1 was to the DNS modders.

Part 2 was to the Hooker glitchers.

Rocket Skates

These firefighters gathered at the Crastenburg hotel near LSIA interacting with civilians. This is the second time since the Freemode Events update I've seen firefighters and a firetruck spawn in a random location. The other was at the convenience store in Chumash. Posted a photo earlier in this thread or in the what has the freemode update changed, can't remember which.

I know you can trade in properties but sell them? that must something new, is that exclusive to current gen?

If you have a sandking and accedently glitch the brushguard on as the stock bumper... dont freekout!

simply go to the suspention and hover over another level, the bumper should return to normal!(Just found this out last night)

(as for the roll bar and step bars... just do the parts removal glitch to remove those! ;) )

You can't sell properties - it's still the same as it was, where you can trade in an existing property or fill a new slot when you buy, and that's all.

Time and weather are synchronized through different sessions.

Yup, same as time and the radio and probably other stuff. It's when it starts raining here just as it starts in LSC that I get weirded out.

Actually, it's not perfect yet. Time can vary slightly and weather can be completely different (that is quite rare though). As for the radio, unless they've changed something then you hear on other people's radio what you are playing on yours (if it's the same station), but they're not hearing the same thing at their end. Basically, it sounds synched to you and it sounds synched to them, but you're both hearing different things. Like I say, that may have changed but I'd be surprised.

I guess it's easy to test, because if time and radio are both synced universally then you should always get the same songs at the same time, which I don't think is the case.

Eh? If the radio station loop is 12 or 24 hours, yes, but not otherwise. Besides, the length of the radio station loop will vary because the song order, the chat between songs, and the adverts all vary. The only way to test it would be to get 2 people both listening to the same radio station, and tell each other what song is playing over headset or text.

Talking of synced radios, has anyone else ever experienced the radio station "skipping"? Sometimes I'll be in the middle of a song then it stops and goes straight to another song for no reason, no crossfade and no dj banter.

That would be syncing, I guess. Radio station rubber banding.

Yeah and strangely the radio stations that play from "boomboxes" and businesses (cafes, Rebel radio HQ etc) are not synced to car radio.

Yeah the radio is synced. Often I hear my buds starting singing along to the song that I also happen to be listening to.

Also, it becomes pretty obvious now with the Lowrider Update. Get a bunch of people opening their trunks and playing the same station.

If you've heard people verbally confirm they're hearing the same thing as you then there's the proof then. The latter is what previously happened, but you'd hear one song and your friend would hear another. It pretended to be synced, but wasn't

I should be able to test and confirm this too - I have access to two consoles and copies of the game in close proximity.

Yeah happens alot like right after respawning into freemode from missions. I'll hear someone singing/humming along to a song and we get a little chuckle because we all were listening to the same tune.

I do think that sometimes it can be off some though, similar to Lesters dialogue in heists. Often he is one or two words ahead or behind for everyone.

Another thing about the radio, is that generally the songs are locked to a certain time of day, that corresponds to the DJ chatter.

The host of whatever mode you are playing for some odd reason joins the game after the other players, hence the host has delayed dialogue both on-screen text and audio prompts, that is when everyone has no lag, obviously with lag involved that can change.
