Things you didn't know about GTAO until now

FWIW, I didn't realize that the door to the leftmost (facing east) helipad staircase at the NOOSE HQ is actually open... though you can't walk in for some reason, you can get a look inside.

I had incorrectly assumed that this door was also closed like the one on the right helipad.

Too bad this doesn't let you go all the way in--would otherwise be a handy place to quickly land and take cover if needed:

All cars with a wooden dashboard that looks similar to the muscle car dashboard, have a non-functional radiator coolant temperature gauge, the dial either sits at the "hot" end or the "cold" end, and it doesn't go up and down when the engine gets shot.

Oddly enough, if you apply a turbo on it, it works...Like a boost gauge.

Also, I think the fuel gauge of this dashboard is not functional either(this can only be checked on single player).

Here are some cars that have this dashboard:

Emperor, Vigero, Glendale, Monroe, Rhapsody, Tornado and some other classic cars.

It's possible to dodge the homing rockets from a HRL with a Buzzard.

Just do a 360 spin, while banking and turning right or left.

Success rate is of about 70% (lag can f*ck you over)

Doesn't work for the Savage.

i assume flight skill also affect dodging HL

hunter at one point successfully dodged a HL by tilting backward after briefly fly away before tempting it

is it me or is change appearance also accompanied with another free "ticket" when reconnecting back the session ?

if yes , how generous especially with the free money upon transitioning to online

Nah, it's all about the timing involved and from where the missile is coming, if it is coming from the front, just fly forward fast enough and you will evade it when the missile turns.

From the back, do the spin I just mentioned: rotate left or right while banking on the same side you'really rotating, use the beeps as a gauser to know when it's time to spin.

From the sides, turn to the side the missile is incoming, and do the same spin.

I think the same move can pulled with the Frogger.

About your second point, yes you do get a second chance you change your character appearance, though I think you need to make any changes first, which will charge you $100,000.

i think that one meant for FIB heist : roof entry

where the crew is seen boarding the maverick

then again , there are ladders that you can gain access to the roof

One sun cream for sale in 24/7 stores describes itself as "pro-oranging"; the other is by a company called Facepalm. I was bored and it was raining.

If you have a three- to five-star wanted level in a helicopter (higher level is better)--and want to have some fun--you can fly into the south-most end of the Merryweather docks, and you'll start a mini-war between the LSPD and Mercenaries.

Nothing really new about this of course, but it appears that if you don't shoot at the Mercs yourself, they should leave you alone (knock on wood)... leaving you to land your chopper inside (out of the way) and enjoy the show until your wanted level clears. :) The LSPD should also be too busy (or dead) to come after you...though they usually win, seeing as they have unlimited numbers. The Mercs do not. lol

I think I've played GTA V single player at least 5 times. Yesterday I went to grab the Vinewood tour bus and noticed it gives us a bus ride tour for $40. Of course I got on and went on the tour. Nice touch Rockstar.

Alert the cops right before starting a gang attack and they battle each other as well.

^^ "Alert the cops right before starting a gang attack..."

IIRC, doesn't this disable the gang attack until you lose your wanted level? With my luck, the cops show up half-way through, finish off the gang (fine with me)...but then take me out as well. lol

You can also switch your weapons back and forth when you're in a car or on a bike by swiping the touchpad left and right.

Seems to me in the jet it does the same thing.

I drove Kuruma into gang attack and ran over the ammo box and shot the security guards that patrol the building. The gang attack started and I alerted the cops too. Now you can safely watch them have a gun fight.

This can be done in certain contact missions that are in gang neighborhoods. Watch the gangs and cops fight. Last mission I did this in was the mission where you steal the pink Zion. I hid on the roof and watched the fight.

When selecting your destination in a cab your minimap also cycles through the locations.

Yes I take cabs in online. Allows me to go make something to eat or make more coffee. I also have a macabre curiosity to see if the cab and driver get incinerated.

Yes they do, 1/4 of the time.

Such a great and fun little car :)

Real shame it's miss classed though, should have been a Coupe.

For a moment there I thought I'd missed a '70s DLC.

Apparently just pointing your gun at something can cause it to catch fire:

Aircraft have a colour spawn sequence just like any other vehicle. Get enough of them in a session and you'll start seeing the more unusual colours. White is only 4th in line.

Well from my knowledge the white frogger spawns only in a mission in singleplayer with a spotlight attached.

You can spawn any color in the list if you have Pegasus one.

Go to LSIA, call one, looking at it, call another one, repeat until you get what you want. I only did it with Duster, should be true to all Pegasus vehicle.
