People acting childish on the forums and getting my thread locked for

I'm not going to get into a long rant here.....But I just want to clarify that Modders were NOT ALLOWED IN THE TOURNAMENTS.......If somebody was caught modding in a 1v1, which didn't happen very often (in fact, it happened so little it was almost nonexistent), they would not be welcomed to join the tournaments again and the match they cheated in would not count against the opponent.

 

So, all of the high-profile 1v1's and 2v2's on GTA IV, they were all put together by a few core members of the community who were highly trusted and had a reputation themselves for being Real Shooter and legit players. And if they lost, almost all of them had the decency to pay their opponent the prize money if they had lost and there was no dispute over who won of if he was cheating etc etc.

 

Now as far as you referencing GTA IV being dead, I have to say, yes I agree with you.....But only in the sense that the old community is dead....The game is still alive and well and still has thousands of people playing at any given time.....

 

However, these players that play now are not the Old School guys that I came up with, it's a whole new generation (Me being part of the First Generation of GTA IV Online players I have seen entire generation come and go).

 

I am hoping that when Heists finally do come out for GTA V Online, that it will make the game fun for me......That is all I can hope for.

 

I am glad RassO can appreciate the things I appreciated about GTA IV......However, I guess he took the argument in another direction when referring to people's social lives and attacking forum users for their post count, which, in my opinion, has nothing to do with what we were discussing.

 

Whether or not somebody is on here all day long, 24/7 or just a weekly user really makes no difference to me....I can careless what your post count is or whether or not you have friends in real life or if you are a 35 year old virgin still living in his mom or dads basement.....To me, all of these things are irrelevant are non-issues.....

 

And even though RassO holds the same views as me regarding GTA IV being competitive and GTA V being completely "different" than GTA IV....We have the same logic on that topic, but I do not condone his personal attacks on any forum users.....

 

Even though I have been attacked and insulted personally in this thread multiple times, and attacked based on what some forum users assume to know about my personal that life....And the same kid that RassO was attacking in his last post, that same person Xyn (among other people), has insulted me on a personal level (as opposed to attacking my opinion or ideology of GTA IV).

 

But with that being said..... I still don't agree with RassO's decision to divert this argument from a logical philosophical debate between GTA games into a personal vendetta and attacking the users based on irrelevant arguments which hold no value in a debate or on any forum, such as social status, who has more friends, what job one holds, how many posts a user has (Too little posts, they say your a noob....To many posts, they say you have no life), etc etc.

 

But as far as me moving on....I have tried V and it just doesn't give me that nice tingly feeling when playing as GTA IV did.....I just remember being excited for GTA IV to come out and once it did, I was satisfied for another 6 years, due to the replay value of the Singe Player Story Mode ( I have beaten GTA IV at least 10 times since it's release six years ago).

 

But what kept me coming back over and over again, and still to this day was the multiplayer.......It was just a blast back in 2008 all the way through 2010, I played non stop, literally not having a social life at the time.....It was just so addicting to me at the time.....And to this day I have trouble putting it down when I have the free time.

 

V is just "different' that GTA IV, "a lot different".

That was one long opinion. Most of it belongs in the story thread TBH. But even I have doubts about that. Cause this isn't even a story about you playing GTA O. It's just a story of you watching your previous thread turn completely into sh*t. I'm not going to be funny and act like a smartass like SOME people here. All in all, you should request this thread to be locked because people are gonna come in regardless and start sh*t up anyway.
