What do you look for in a crew?

So what do you look for in a crew? What makes one stand out amongst the others? What actually makes it a "crew" instead of just a bunch of randoms with the same tag?

What type of things make you join a crew?

Simply the logo or name?

Activities?

A website?

An active hierarchy?

Large numbers?

Backup?

What types of things do you expect from a crew? What should every crew have?

What types of things do want, that not many crews are doing or you don't see a lot of?

I know this is a kind of random thread... I just want some feedback on what I could do to make a better/more active and entertaining crew

I joined my crew just because of my friend. Haha! But I think it's the perfect crew. Doesn't have a large quantity of members, we respect and support each other, do our assigned parts in missions and not be sloppy like your ex girlfriend. (Lol). You should build a good relationship with your crew as a whole. That's what makes a crew.

The best crews are ones that seek quality not quantity in regards to members. If a crew isn't organized they won't be much help in pvp/ missions

THIS.

I try to keep my crew competitive too, and hungry to accomplish in game goals. I check this board for new jobs, and ways to make legit money, and help out lower level players. Maturity and understanding are two of my main concerns. Organization is something I have been striving for in my crew, and since I joined this site I have been given a few good ideas.

If anyone wants to do a crew vs. crew race or DM PM me. We should set this up.

c/p OP to answer the questions

Simply the logo or name? Not really, but a nice logo is always a benefit.
Activities? Yes, definitely.
A website? Doesn't matter either way, but can be useful for organisation.
An active hierarchy? Preferable but so long as the crew itself is active, not necessary.
Large numbers? Large enough that there are people playing, but not so large that the crew is largely random. Quality > Quantity.
Backup? I have my crew members' backs, so preferably that in return is nice.

Also this:

One that actually feels like a crew, and not just a bunch of randoms with the same tag.

I like the look of crews if they are active and the amount of people if it's too big then there are just fools as they are wanting to look for the easier crews and they are more likely to be disloyal rather then the smaller crews like I'm in now.

Whoever invites me.

I'm not really all that bothered about playing with crew members as normally I just play with random people for the most part.

Like "Payne Killers"?

Yup

So how many is too many when it comes to members.... When does it start to feel crowded and "random"?

I'm wanting to make a sub crew to our main crew, so I want something tight knit, and precise..

Probably anything over 250 is too much.

A forum for the crew helps keep the crew members more known of each other though so it might help with bigger crews. A crew is good if almost any random crew member can join your lobby and you'll be like "Oh yeah, I know that guy."
