Plus it's an unfinished game, so your comment is pretty much void. It's ridiculous seeing a lot of idiots just bashing this game for no reason, it visually looks ten times better than GOW, story "potentially" can be better and the setting is different. Gears of War my ass. The only thing even "remotely" similar are the weaponry, and the way they look and are styled and the fact it's a third person shooter type of game. Everything else is opinion. At the moment, it visually looks like the best next gen game coming soon. Like I said, it's not easy to judge the gameplay right now and the story isn't known yet. Personally, I thought the voice acting was good, but I see where you're coming from. They should have talked more and had things to say, it did sound empty but they were focusing on the action. But this is a small part of a short gameplay, I'm pretty sure most of the talk happens during seamless cutscenes. Hopefully it gets better in the next footage they show us because this game has lots of potential. Also does the game seem really dark to anyone else. It's kind of hard to see enemies. This is one of the only games I haven't actually pre ordered on next gen and nothing in that video made me go wow I gotta pre order this now... Look, no offence, I'm really not defending this game since it isn't even out and I haven't played it, but, "Heavily scripted third person cover based shooter". Yeah, who the actual f*ck said this was open world and not scripted? And how do you know there aren't any non scripted things happening in the game? In these types of games, single player is the main target. A good/epic story is what they develop in a game like this. Now I've already said they haven't shown us anything to do with the story and they haven't also barely showed us any proper gameplay, but I think I can agree with you on the AI re-watching the gameplay, they aren't very clever at all. They seem to act like dummies just standing around waiting to be shot at. Gameplay is also what I'm expecting to be good alongside the story, otherwise it ruins half of the game. If it doesn't look good to me, then of course I wouldn't be expecting the game to be that replayable, but then Uncharted games are some of the best single player games out there and it's also third person, and the gameplay looks pretty similar to this in terms of action. Not many people complained about the gameplay in that game although I think there's almost nothing to complain about gameplay wise. So I don't think you should be judging this game so early on. I mean if you are really going to say this is a sh*t game, you might as well say every unreleased game on the PS4 or even the Xbox One is going to be sh*t. Sounds completely wrong, right? Saying this game sucks or is just another generic TPS is not ok and is a false statement, not an opinion. Until you play the game, you can't actually judge the game. To me, the game looks great because I don't see any problem with the gameplay in terms of shooting, cover system or anything like that, apart from the AI. That's what you call an opinion, not claiming that this game sucks and is a generic TPS and saying it as a fact. I gave an example of how I can claim that Quantam Break is a clone of another 3rd person shooter, but that doesn't make it true. I'd have to experience the game first, and then judge it. So next time, read what I write properly. Also, Quantam Break is also an exclusive, on the Xbox and is also 3rd person, so I was saying if I was to go on a thread like this, and it was about that game, and I claimed it was a clone of Max Payne, but an open world version, without playing the game or anything, then I'd get attacked and stuff. So I'm linking the situation to this because it seems you came on to the topic like other people judging the whole game without playing it or experiencing it in anyway.
