Dazue Posted May 24, 2014 Share Posted May 24, 2014 After finishing the trash truck mission, I haven't been able to do the next mission. Nothing appears on my map for it. I cant replay any missions because it says I'm in the middle of one.Order of what I did. Grabbed the trash truck Got the getaway vehicle as Trevor and called Michael. Everything disappeared from the map involving the heist and haven't been able to do anything. When i go into the ammunation I cant buy the boiler suits.. Any ideas? When you called Michael, did you scroll to his name in your Contacts list, and then select "Mark Getaway Location." ?Are there any side missions uncompleted? This mission will not start unless all previous missions and side missions are complete, in other words there should be no other icons on your map. In particular, you must complete the first assassination mission for Lester. There is a possibility that you have a corrupt save and so you will need to load up a previous save file and replay to this point. Dazue Posted May 24, 2014 Author Share Posted May 24, 2014 I was able to mark a getaway location There's 1 or 2 "?" on the map right now, and I have no idea if i did the first assassination. chrisscorsese88 Posted May 25, 2014 Share Posted May 25, 2014 (edited) Hello Dazue, try doing these steps and see if this helps. If what Barefoot Tiger has said did not help, and these steps don't rectify the problem either, I'm afraid your save is corrupt.1. Save in a new slot, then reload the game so it loads the new save slot.2. Kill your character. 3. If nothing is still on the map, proceed to Online, play for five minutes and exit back to SP through the character switch wheel. (If you don't have online, then just skip this step) 4. Next try going to your safehouse and sleep on the bed, but hit B or Circle so it doesn't save. 5. If nothing still, kill your character one more time. If all fails, then you'll be forced to make a new save. To prevent something like this from happening again, every 5-10% progress you make, save in a new slot. Cycle through 3 save slots and always save in the bottom slot so the oldest save is moved to the top. That way, if the game becomes glitched again, you don't have to backtrack very far. Let me know if any of the above steps helped or not, and good luck. ~Tiger~ Posted May 25, 2014 Share Posted May 25, 2014 Thinking its corrupt at this point I wouldn't give up so soon, after all your game kicked in the ? missions from now-where, it may cause the HS to appear. Do a quick save (in a new or very old slot) then turn of your console. Give the machine a break then power up and load up. If the HS icon isn't present, give the game engine a little exercise by driving around and interacting. Quick save in a new or oldest slot, shut down and reboot. If this doesn't enable to HS icon to pop up, you will need to reload the nearest save you have to the point before this mission started and replay the heist set up. Also Maude is emailing me asking about some deadbeat. Not sure if that's suppose to be on the map, because it isnt.. I do appreciate the help though. The emails from Maude contain a miniature map on where to find them, they do not appear on the map within the start menu. Considering you said you did other "?" missions and nothing showed up, I doubt doing the Maude side mission will do anything either, but it couldn't hurt. Try that and see what happens.
