Update on GTA Online Cheaters and Modded RP


In order to keep Grand Theft Auto Online fair for everyone, we are removing illegitimate RP from the accounts of players who hacked or modded to get ahead. Please see this article for the full details.


So i was browsing around on R* Support thread after i had submitted a ticket about an issue with my Personal Plates when i came aross this wonderful gem.

Brian B called out a Cheater on R* Support section when a DNS Cheater asked why he was deranked so much, There are 100 more out there like this one but this one was by far the funniest on how far this kid will go to try and convince R* he wasn't cheating even after Brian B answered not once, twice but THREE times that he cheated and the date and what proved he was cheating and he still won't take "You Cheated & Got Caught" for an answer

Although I was entertained greatly but this thread in the support forums I was sad to learn that they didn't loose EVERYTHING with their de-ranking such Health & Amour which should now be 20/100 they have access to ALL Rank Classed weapons such as the RPG's and Mini- Guns & their ammo.

The ONLY thing they lost access to was their Tankand/or Buzzard and several High Ranked missions when they should've lost EVERYTHING to reset to where they should've been as a Lvl 20 .

This was a big let- down by R* and for those of you talk about RR grinders not being reset then weren't reset because in the eyes of the game mechs/specs those ranks. & money were made legally/legit unlike DNS coding.

I was level 150 before the DNS, why am i only level 20 now?

According to this thread: R* Support Article About Ranking Adustments my level should be back to the one that was before the DNS. So why am i only level 20? I deserve explanations.

You cheated on 28-Dec to increase your rank from 12 to 1,000. This illegitimate RP has been removed.

I have an explanation! My friend was using my PS3 to rank up his charatcher so it must've ranked up mine along with it i didn't cheat i swear i'm being punished for doing nothing wrong because i didn't use the DNS to rank up

This is wrong. Just look at my trophies. I earned my level 25 trophy on 11/26. Level 50 trophy on 12/04 and level 100 on 12/21. My second character is only level 25. How could this be wrong? And no i never had a level 25 character before.
So this is it, im not lying. There is a mistake in this RP Correction.

Ok, in my stats says that my 1 slot character get created in 10/31. And my second character was created in December (I will post the exactly date later). And my trophy list in Social Club and in psn show that i earned those trophies in November and in December. Do you still think am i lying?

On 24-Dec, you jumped from rank 1 to rank 978 through cheating. Your RP has been removed and adjusted appropriately.

I already admitted to using the DNS servers and realise I was wrong to do it
But I disagree with what level I was deranked to, I know I was above rank 1, had the game since launch, if they checked my stats around December 22 they'll see I was above rank 1

Enough already dude, one would think getting shamed by Brian would be enough! But no, you're continuing to advertise your own stupidity. NO ONE here is going to have any sympathy or feel bad for you! Like I said, take your punishment like a man, and move on for god's sake!!

So now i can manipulate the date i earned those trophies?

Ok assuming that you guys deal with liars every day, that says that they had a friend or that they did not cheat etc. One day one guy appears with a problem saying that something is wrong. And he shows a proof. But even with a proof, you guys are blind and cant see that there is no logic in what Brian. B. is saying. At least in my case my RP should be re-adjusted or Brian could make a good investigation in my History (if there is one). Then he will see that what he is saying is wrong. I have friends who can confirm it and i have my trophies list. Now tell me how can i be lying? I mean i know that Brian. B. is well know in those Forums, but even a retard can see that something is wrong. The dates dont fit

Brian can confirm that i only have created 3 characters so far (excluiding the ones in the first week, those get deleted by problems in the game) My First character i deleted by mistake, it was level 21 or 22 (i cant remember). My second character (the one i use now and got deranked) was created in Oct 31 (you can confirm that in my stats), 30 days after the GTA Online Launch. My third Character got created in December and is only level 25.

My Crew was a Crew in RDR that used the LAG Switch to acces the god mod glitch. But it dont have nothing to do with GTA

You used DNS, plain and simple. Your complaining about a reset level, when in reality, you should be perm banned, have your entire console bricked, and (if the behavior continues) have legal action taken against you. You got let off with only a slap on the wrist and your complaining?

it is ridiculous how this forum is full of jerks. Instead of helping they laugh at your problem without even making arguments or proving me that i am wrong. Anyone with a brain would consider that maybe i am telling the truth and that maybe you should check everything that i posted so far and make a good argument before posting those stupid comments

I got a new proof. I have a photo taken on 12/23 (First time i used the DNS). Showing my character at level 584. This photo was uploaded in my brother's facebook. You can see the date the photo was uploaded and that this character is exactly to the one in my Social Club. The only problem is that it was in a phone camera and it is hard to see the id (if you zoom on it you will realize the 21 in the id, mine is inaldo21, and the crew is LAGX. Also the Chrome Entity is in my Garage if you want to check it out.

If this photo was uploaded at 12/23 how can Brian says that i used in 12/28??

I understand what you are saying but, according to this thread: R* Rank Adjustment Thread they should get me back to what i was before the DNS, and end of story. That was the choise they made to punish cheaters. So no, what you saying about perm ban and law issues dont make sense, because im complaining about something they said they would do, but they never did.

Ok now look at my Social Club Page...and follow my logic.

My Second Character were created in 12/08, before my level 100 trophy, so it is impossible to create a character, rank up him to level 100, and delete it after that because there are only two characters slots, and both were created before the level 100 trophy. And this second character is only level 26!!!
De-ranked character created 10/31
Lvl 25 trophy earned 11/26
Lvl 50 trophy earned 12/04
Second Character Created 12/08
Lvl 100 trophy earned 12/21
Used DNS for the first time at 12/23 (picture proof is above)
-Rockstar says that i used the DNS at 12/28...
So... I WIN ! Rockstar is WRONG! There is no way someone could say i am lying now.

Actually all that i have said so far makes sense, different of you comming here to a thread that you dont have nothing to do it, to offend someone. You are being retarded. Whatever Rockstar decision helping me or not it will not affect you in nothing, so there is no point coming here posting stupid comments

You see, here's the thing. No one here is going to have sympathy for a cheater. It is people like you that helped to destroy RDR and now it's on to GTA V and try to destroy it.

Quit crying and accept your punishment. You cheated. Get over it.

It sounds like anyone who cheated got put back to level 20. If it were me, I would have put you back to level 1, taken away everything you have and put you in the dunce pool. But hey, that's just me. Be glad I don't work for c3tm6N4.png.

Well the game isnt yours, so the decision of what punishment that cheaters will have, is from Rockstar. And according to this thread https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/202598028, they should remove my RP back to my last legit level, around 150. But they didnt did that, so it is my right to complain. Whatever if you agree or not with how i play. And also whatever level am i, will not affect you in nothing, so there is no point in you comming here.

I already reached level 150 legit (like everybody else), also i already completed all missions (inclueded the versus ones), i have played more than 50 different deathmathces and races.
2- I dont need cheats to win (just look at my awards or how many deathmatches i have won)
3- They already have sended me to cheater pool for being level 1000 (even when they said that no one would be)
So yeah im probably better player than you (like everybody else), with the difference that i made the mistake of using the DNS when i should not done. They had take all my money, and already sended me to cheater pool. And now they had taken all of my non legit RP along with my legit RP.

Dont you think it is my right to complain ?

i have the same problem im now level 20 and i was level 152 before i hacked such bullcrab r says that they have "checked" my account well maybe r should check it again because i want to be my 152 levels as i was before

Both of you had RP has been removed and adjusted appropriately as well, If you feel this was a mistake you can make an appeal by submitting a ticket to Rockstar Support.

No you do not have the right to complain here.
You used a DNS admitted to using a DNS, You got caught and now you are trying to backtrack c3tm6N4.png isn't going to revert you back to lvl 150 so quit crying and go play GTA and level back up.

If it is not something useful, try to keep your comment for yourself

Something that Rockstar really need to do is to turn this SUPPORT FORUM into a Support forum. This should be a place where people appears with in game problems to get in game solutions from developers or users. This is becoming worst than GTA Forums where the number of Trolls and stupid questions like: When Heists are Comming Out? Exceeds the useful info and useful users that the forum have.

You are not going to get your rank back so quit being a baby and you aren't as you already noticed you aren't going to get a shoulder to cry on from us and c3tm6N4.png already made it clear you aren't getting your rank back and besides you only lost access to your Pegasus vehicle and a few high level missions when you should've lost all your rank level guns too including your RPG & Mini-Gun so why are you even complain?
Ooh is it because now you can't go on a squeaky rampage in your tank anymore, Is that it?

Nah their is nothing wrong with GTAF we just don't like to deal with crap like this, If you are nice and have a genuin problem we are more than happy to help but when you come to us about stuff like this you aren't going to get any "Support" so you come to R* hoping to get some and how did that work out for you?.

This thread only appeared because the player got caught out in the account sweep.
It would be a little more sympathetic if the player had actually owned to cheating, but in actual fact is only complaining because he got found out.

Even though its just a number as you put it, its not about that. Its a doorway to continuous cheating, whose to say whether the player has already been experimenting with further game exploitation's ie god mode, explosive bullets etc.

c3tm6N4.png are making examples of cheaters and laying down what they feel is necessary.
I have no sympathy for this thread whatsoever, the player knew what he was doing when he was tampering with codes and knew full well what the gains would be.

There is no room for complaint he should just get on with enjoying the game and leave it at that, whether or not there is an RP calculation error, if I had my way they would stay in the cheaters lobby with an infinite timer......

No i want my rank back at 150 where i belong c3tm6N4.png made a mistake and now they don't want to admit to it because i proved them wrong so i am not going to stop untill i get my rank back where it belongs so shut up unless you know a way to help me

Ok, I hate to be the one to point this out to you, but by your own admission:
you reached level 100 on the 21st of December
you used DNS on the 23rd of December
How were you 150 by the 23rd?

Whatever happened to the general idea of cheating being lame and pathetic and it being punished severely?

 

If you gotta cheat (and you really don't, you'll just try to justify it to yourself), deal with the consequences instead of trying to fight the developers on it.

You're wrong because you cheated, end of story.

Actually they didn't loose their mini-guns they still have access to all rank-required weapons and can still buy ammo for them.

 

The only thing they lost their privileges to are any rank required missions and access to their Buzzard and/or Tank so not much a punishment

Kinda funny that two of the accused cheaters didn't start cheating until level 121... right after they got the minigun.

You don't lose any weapons you already had. You lose access to Pegasus vehicles that you don't have a high enough rank for, so obviously a lot of cheaters are losing access to tanks.

im surprised it took them so long to do anything and they let the money glitchers get away with and keep everything to be honest. any other online game ive ever played wouldve banned them all right away. The only exception would be for beta tests, which i guess this game kinda still is even though you had to pay for it, lol!

The one who were punished got a slap on the wrist penalty. What they deserve is reset to level 1 with no $,weapons,pegasus vehicles, home, garage etc and put in permanent cheater pool. Get caught again and it should be a console ban with loss of live/ps account and RSSC account!

I don't know or care about this guy and his rankings. R* could have very well made a mistake. I don't see the point in this thread though. Shouldn't this go in some sort of 'share your stories' thread or something?

sadly i gotta agree with this. rockstar is pretty weak on the punishments. Were gonna take the millions of dollars you cheated to get but we will let you keep everything you bought with it, oh you bought everything in game that is available to buy and dont even need money anymore? thats cool.
