Should Car Parks Have More Cars?

It's hard not to notice that many large car parks around San Andreas are almost, if not, empty. The car parks around Los Santos International Airport are literally empty. An airport car park would never be like that. Its weird, because you are supposedly in one of the busiest places in San Andreas and there's hardly nothing there! The same goes for the docks (where Simeons import/export garage is). There are loads of parking spots for trucks, trailers and cars, but you only see like 2 or three vehicles parked and 4 vehicles driving around. Your opinions?

I'm sure there'd be more cars in the airport parking lots if there were actually places to go to by plane. And if and when that happens (wasn't there some rumour floating around about expanding the game world?) we'll also be able to fly commercially, like in SA.

I agree, but it's probably console limitations, just like at certain times there isn't many cars on the road, or all the cars being the same (except the color).

i find more cars while im in a server with just few people in it.

 

the lack of cars is more noticeable one the lobby is full or there is a tank rolling around as all cars would disappear from the streets or would simply despawn when you get near.

For free roam I like it the way it is. But for races I would want no npv vehicles anywhere parked or moving and all gates open.

The Online Los Santos is dead. A ghost town.

 

In SP the car parks are relatively full, there's a lot more props along the streets, more life in and around the city and ambient noises and lighting feels more welcoming and homely.

 

Either way though, Los Santos really doesn't feel like a city to me. Just a very large town

The car parks should definitely have AI going up and down with more parked cars. Agreed.

No, it's pretty simple really.

 

It'd be nice to have them filled up considering they're parking spaces and even though there are heaps, they're never used. But, can't worry about parking spaces when we can't even park our own due to freezing now can we, ay?

 

Other things can take the priority chair for now.

Yeah but the game is already pushed to the limits as it is wouldn't adding like 3x more cars mess with the game brain i guess is a good word for it?

Things like this is why I would like this game to come to PS4 and Xbox One. More cars spawning, more variety in spawned cars, more NPC's walking around, dead bodies staying longer, maybe bullet casings laying on the ground, more players in a session, maybe some grapics improvements, etc.

Simple, last gen consoles can hardly handle GTA V - let alone GTA Online.

 

I think the PS4/XBone version will look much better, and run more smoothly.

Great idea for the singleplayer part, but not for online, mainly because of freezing issues, and console limitations.

most definitely. multiplayer games are not near as fun when you cant play with lots of people, lol! it will be better on pc and ps4, i cant wait.

It would have more, but the render is set to low. Each vehicle consists about 20-27K polygons it could get really laggy if the render would be set higher, but it's hardcoded anyway so.
