How to get any crew color on Social Club

Method 1)

This is on firefox, and I think Chrome will be identical.

1) Go to SC and Select the crew you are leader and want to change color.

2)Go to Manage Crew

3)Right click the little color box

4)Click Inspect Element

CustomColor1_zpsab7e545a.png

5)A Menu will pop, search for the Hex Value (Something like #FFFFFF)

CustomColor2_zps0d7dab10.png

6)Change the Hex value (RED) and RGB (Blue)* to whatever color you want **

6.1)Make sure you press enter after typing the rgb and hex codes to help it save (+)

7)Save changes (Sometimes It doesnt save, even it says it saved, so just Repeat)***

Method 2 (Method by Furry_Monkey)

1)Create a Bookmark (any page will do)

2)Go to your bookmarks and search for the new bookmark you just created, now search for properties

3)You will see the bookmark properties, replace the link with this

javascript:(function(){var col=prompt("Enter the colour hex value", "#abcdef");$(".minicolors-swatch span").css("background-color",col);$("createCrewFormColor,crewColor").val(col);})()

4)Save

5)Go to SC and edit your crew, open the Bookmark you just created and a new popup windown will appear

6)Write your HEX color code and save

7)Color will be changed in social club and you can now save the crew

*The 3 values will appear as Hex, but when you click first one will change to RGB

**If you know the Hex and dont know RGB

http://www.javascripter.net/faq/hextorgb.htm

If You know RGB but dont know the HEX

http://www.javascripter.net/faq/rgbtohex.htm

***Some colors arent supported, it will appear an error saying it isn’t supported.

Using Crew Color on LSC

In LSC go and select your “base” paint, the crew color will get the characteristics of this “base"

*Let’s say, you want matte crew paint, choose matte black and then crew color. If you want colored chrome, choose chrome and then your crew color.

**If you want your crew color to have a pearl, first apply the base paint, then the pearl and then your crew color. If this is matte or metals, use the technic below

Colored Chrome

Colores Metals

36eabae988f4b9399a7b3e3d14d90a58_zpsb871

Apply Pearlescent to Matte, Classic and Metals

1)Get the color you want to add pearlescent

2) Go to metallic colors without buying anuthing

3) Exit paint options

4)Buy any mod in the car, such as plate, wheels, roof, hood, etc.

5)Go back to paints and click on Pearlescent, choose the pearl you want.

Take the 2nd, 3rd and 4th numbers in the brackets and use them in a color swatch. It's the RGB combo or you can use the last 6 digits in the 0xFF code.
For instance Lime is a locked color but using this.

LIME_GREEN = 0xFF568F00 (255, 86, 143, 0)

R: 86
G: 143
B: 0

Is it possible to make dark colours with this? Whenever I try to change a crew colour to a dark colour, it reverts itself to a lighter colour.

Yes, but in game will be lighter, the best thing you can do is find a darker shade, hopefully this will help http://hexcolortool.com

Not sure if it support 0,0,0 black, but I know that it supports colors like 3,3,3. Which is almost a pure black

Tried the code for all "Black" and it's another code that isn't a valid "Crew Color" according to the message I got upon trying to "Save Changes".

After messing around with the Color Codes and seeing which ones are "Valid". Found some pretty neat colors so far! I'll try and add which codes are valid from time to time to help compile a list of some sort?

Thanks again OP!

So has anybody found a white color code that works?
Black works as RGB: 0, 0, 2 and HEX: #000002
