its the same as putting the class as supers and there being low lvls in the lobby who dont have custom supers

Both are disingenuous, but this is not nearly as bad as the other.

If someone plays GTA Online, you encounter these races, and I ask what people think of these races. What has that got to do with the creator?

I don't like them personally there are a handful of good ones I've played but most are just complete sh*t, it's just gimmicky, I don't like Gimmicky races, I prefer races with a good challenging route that doesn't need ZOMG jumps to be a 'Challenge' or fun. Now there are some where they do work, and they are beneficial but most of them suck IMHO.

I don't think I like them more than a good standard on the ground race, but I like those crazy insane ramp races and the new ones are even crazier than the hot dog cart stacked ones. Maybe it's because I have a kid of my own now but anyone who can put together a crazy virtual hot wheels track can get a thumbs up from me.

 

Lately I've been wondering (was thinking of making a separate post) what custom race ramp offers the best air time? Anyone have a suggestion? Feel free to shamelessly promote your own, I just want the highest jump created. Like one of those suspended platform ramps. Please give a link and it needs to be a new one, the old links don't work anymore.

 

They're good for silly fun but I prefer regular races.

I agree. I tend to avoid them as my racing vehicles are unarmored, so if I get knocked off a ramp or don't land properly, there will be an explosion.

I do enjoy races like Four Way Madness and Criss-Cross Dock Race.

Still, I'll take Downtown Underground or Greenwich Meantime any day of the week.

It's kind of a satanic version of 4 way set in Sandy Shores...best with 6 or more for those mid air collisions/near misses.

I actually just created some a couple days ago. They are apart of a series where I create a stunt jump race for every super car seperately.

Stunt Jumps: Adder
This installment of the 'Stunt Jumps' series is a point to point race locked specifically to the Truffade Adder. HINT: Sometimes hitting the jumps a little slower is better. Enjoy!

(The hint is for the first jump. Also, it is good to know that the last checkpoint is on a building)

 

Stunt Jumps: Bullet
This installment of the 'Stunt Jumps' series is a point to point race locked specifically to the Vapid Bullet. HINT: Last jump may be a game changer. Hit it straight. Enjoy!
(One of the more epic jumps where you have to split seams between two buildings)
Stunt Jumps: Cheetah
This installment of the 'Stunt Jumps' series is a point to point race locked specifically to the Grotti Cheetah. HINT: Make sure you are completely parallel with the curved wall for the wallride section. Enjoy!
(My personal favorite with a massive wall ride at the Rockford Plaza near the LS Customs that you have to hit well to reach the next checkpoint. Not an easy race if you cant get the wallride down)
Stunt Jumps: Entity XF
This installment of the 'Stunt Jumps' series is a point to point race locked specifically to the Overflod Entity XF. HINT: You may need more speed if you respawned before the first canal jump. Enjoy!
(Seems to be the favorite out of other players, with massive canal jumps that may prove fun and difficult)

 

Stunt Jumps: Infernus
This installment of the 'Stunt Jumps' series is a point to point race locked specifically to the Pegassi Infernus. HINT: The last checkpoint can only be hit by doing the wallride and launching off. Enjoy!
(Intense full circle wallride that you use to gain speed and launch yourself off into the finish. Not easy until you find the perfect launch point)
Stunt Jumps: Vacca
This installment of the 'Stunt Jumps' series is a point to point race locked specifically to the Pegassi Vacca. HINT: You may need to back up a bit if you respawned in the LS River jump. Enjoy!
(Simple stunt jump race, short and fun)
This installment of the 'Stunt Jumps' series is a point to point race locked specifically to the Grotti Turismo R. HINT: To reach the finish, you must ride the curved wall and hit the floating checkpoint. Enjoy!
(Short race with big jumps and a wallride ending where you have to hit a floating checkpoint for the finish)

I have not, my limited time is split between my own creations and those of my crew/friends at present. Not sure how it is relevant to the point, though.

Its just another reason I stopped racing, GTA:O had such great potential at being an amazing racing game, but the potential got squandered starting with catchup, no penalties for deliberate collisions and plummeted to its death with the introduction of the Creator, and Rockstar seemingly only picking those races 12 yr olds enjoy to be verified. I guess ive just outgrown the target market.

Catch up and collisions can be dealt with by changing to non contact racing ? The verified selection has got a lot better since the first batch !!

i played the twister ramp race and i liked it, the only problem i have is that the checkpoints are too close together

personally i love the super jump races IF they are created right, a perfect example of a good super jump races are Canucks races he goes by Shay119 on the social club

 

if the races arent made right, if the jumps are impossible or stupid, shttily constructed, or poorly placed i agree with the general concencus that they suck but like i said when made right they can be a ton of fun

Then you would love this race, legit race with stacked ramp but completely optional if you don't like the ramp you can take the chicane under the bridge :)
