I really don't mind White Cars can't jump

These 'races' such as all the sh*t #3PIC ones, are unoriginal piles of crap that are almost impossible, and f*cking stupid as all hell. Especially when there's multiple people jesus.

Go play Trials ffs

Unoriginal? These races are far from impossible in most cases. If your having trouble with them it is your fault not the ramps. I much prefer races that are meant for racing but most people enjoy a coaster ride now and then. That being said, usually if I drop into one while random racing I will leave because it is not what I am looking for.

But having made one of these ramps myself I know what it takes to create them and placing a ramp that has you cover that much distance and have a proper landing zone is extremely difficult to do as well. I give the creators much props on their efforts. I have seen some really crazy locations for these jumps and loops...to say they are unoriginal is ridiculous.

White cars can't jump is a normal race, not a race with big ramps

What do you mean by "big ramps"?

Example of one?

Childish a f*ck! Especially the ones that go high into the sky. Like seriously, are you f*cking retarded? Only God knows what's going through the mind of players who create immature sh*t like this.

Its just another reason I stopped racing, GTA:O had such great potential at being an amazing racing game, but the potential got squandered starting with catchup, no penalties for deliberate collisions and plummeted to its death with the introduction of the Creator, and Rockstar seemingly only picking those races 12 yr olds enjoy to be verified. I guess ive just outgrown the target market.

This^ so frikking much!

Although the content creator would, in a perfect world, be the source of epicness and not something that made the game filled with long hauls.

Racing is cex in this game when someone has made an actual good, interesting track!

Ive come across very few that are any good. Jumps jumps jumps is playable and I admit I like 4 way madness. Most of the other slop is beyond frustrating when you can even really do some of the jumps. Stairway to heaven makes me want to murder people. Namly the person that made the race. The thing that really pisses me off though is the fact Rockstar has the audacity to call me a bad sport when I leave these terrible races!!!!!!

Have you read the first post? all the races you just named are not what I'm talking about at all

I like true races. I just created a race and have tweaking it as necessary. Now when I race it, I tend to let people win because if I come in first (which often happens since I know the track so well and am decent at racing) they more often dislike on the fact they lost. I made it challenging though. A lot of turns that require skill. I was shocked as I raced behind people to view their mannerisms and how difficult of a time people have on the simple stuff. There are no jumps. The track comes down to being a good racer. And a lot of people probably don't find that fun. I always see that in a lobby (it's an 8 person race), 4 like it, 2 dislike (usually toward the bottom of the board), 1 no votes, and of course my vote doesn't matter anymore. I was talking with my friend saying people probably prefer (at least the mass of people) things with jumps like 4-way madness (albeit I enjoy that map too). Whenever I see a jump with open road to the side and no road blockage ahead, I always go around because winning is what is most important to me and going around the jump is faster. I'm the competitive type though that likes to be challenged.

I like them. At least sometimes. But I won`t call them races. They should be in a seperate category. Like with other user created contend most of them are annoying crap. But if they are well designed it can be a lot of fun. Even if you are the last one who crosses the finish line.

Agreed. So many of the R* verified races are gimmicky nonsense, and the non-verified races are even worse. It saddens me to know that these are the people who will be designing the games of the future.

Not too long ago I was racing with someone who claimed to be my fan, he constantly tried to kill me during a race with sticky bombs and hit me all the time. Then when the race was over, he disliked the race. So I was pretty mad on this guy and I kicked him from the group.

He sent me a message asking me why I kicked him, and I explained to him that he was attacking me and he had disliked my race, and that this doesn't come across friendly at all. He then told me that he only disliked the race because he ended last, and that he always dislikes races when he loses.

So apparantly not everyone knows that you're supposed to like or dislike a race based on the track itself. (Placement of props and checkpoints).

I cheerfully accept all avenues that give me opportunities to earn points towards my Spinderella and Flippin Hell awards.

People who get into ramp races with the intention of trying to win them aren't doing it right.

If done well super ramps are a welcome addition BUT by no means should they be in every race and especially should not be overdone in the races that include them.

I usually make 2 or 3 in one race, it's pretty much the perfect number of ramps for my races, there's enough time to race properly, and the ramps are challenging and will test your driving skills. By holding back for example, you'll have a much smoother jump over the ramp, and by holding handbreak in mid air you can control your vehicle.

I'm NOT talking about the small ramps that we all know! And I'm also not talking about the ''stairway to heaven'' or ''4 way madness'' kind of ramps! (NOT JUMPS, JUMPS, JUMPS, and also, NOT, White Cars Can't Jump.

I'm talking about the curved ramps that will make you fly over buildings, rivers, and onto bridges! Smooth mega ramps and half loops and what more?

Since most people didn't get what kind of races I was talking about, here's an example of a ''super ramp race''

These extreme ramps change races into rollercoaster rides. But what do you think of them?

I've played many, and personally I love them. But, fact is that they take away the competitive feel a little, I mean it's still a race, but with these ''super'' races it's more about the big jumps and ramps than it is about the competition.

So my question in the poll is, do you like them or not? And what are the pro's and con's?

i flat out ignore them.

I voted for the 3rd sentence but sometimes, it's good to have a jump, big or not.

The problem is that most of the times, it's over the top, and not playable, so not fun.

Many ramps are badly placed, in a curve or such. Bullsh*t. Those tracks are really annoying. Especially when ramps are not mentioned in the track descritption.

Well, that's true. But when I make a race, I rebuild a ramp 4 times sometimes just to get it absolutely perfect. Then in the info of the race it says ''adder recommended'' so if people decide to race with the Zentorno anyway, then they might get into trouble. But if you do what's in the info and race with the adder, and you have average driving skills, you'll be flying over the river and onto a bridge in my race in one attempt, no problem! It's even better now with the non-contact option.

INFINITY LOOP - I'm undefeated on it!

I hate that one so much haha, I got something similar, only with walls on the side of the ramps so you don't fall off. It's really addicting

I like the super jumps where it's just a line of jumps that goes up into the sky. Everyone else usually falls off it which results in a win for me. But I'd much rather have a regular race without jumps at all.
