Friends IRL who play GTA:O

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone else had this experience. I have about 5 friends irl that have GTA V, but for some reason none of them really got into online like I did (we all around 30yo). They all have online characters and tried it out, but for one reason or another, they didn't get hooked on it (I'm currently lvl 135, next closest irl friend is lvl 37) When I see them, I talk about the game, the new dlc, epic kills I got, weird stuff that happened, etc. They seem to care, some more than others, cause we all grew up playing the older GTAs.

 

Anyway, last night I finally saw one of my IRL friends online for the first time in months, so I text him and tell him that I'm gonna sp to mp franks buffalo for him now that there's a way on ps3. So I do it, but get put in a full lobby so I gotta wait till he able to join. I wait like 15 mins, defend the car from a couple people that drove by, and he finally gets on. I tell him we need to go to lsc right away but not the main one so we go to the industrial area one. He drives it in and comes out. I message him 'did u get insurance?' He messages back 'couldn't, not enuf $' and as I'm in the message screen (his irl phone batt died by that point), I notice that he's driving right towards a couple red dots down the road. By the time I could type 'No! Turn aro...' he rolls right into an intersection and there is a tank waiting around the corner and boom, wasted, car charred, total fail. Today I find myself kind of pissed that he was stupid enough to do that, but at the same time I'm like 'its just a game, don't be mad that your friend is a noob'

 

Has anyone else ever gotten pissed at, or disappointed with, a friend IRL because of something they did in a video game?

 

TL;DR- Your IRL friend does something really stupid in GTA:O, do you get upset with him IRL?

Well I'm 17 so I've a lot of friends who play GTA V, but I'm playing online with only 2 people.. because everyone else is playing SP only or only du sh*t in GTA O.
