why the f*ck does RR keep mission failing!

I found one thing that was causing the problem was parking a PV in a section between the bridge and the building. If you park the car next to the back exit, that's fine. But if a PV is next to the wall, right between the bridge where the car with the document sometimes spawns, it'll usually cause a mission failure.

Yesterday, I was playing RR with randoms and we had just 'failed' the mission twice in a row. I messaged one of the guys causing the problem. He either didn't read or was hard headed. I starting shooting his car, trying to get him to move it without blowing it up to avoid the bad sport penalty. Then someone blew his car up and immediately the car with document spawned.

Don't park in this section:

I always park my car there and I never get the "mission fail" bug from it. I played it several times and I almost always park at that alley - never had the problem. Although I've had a couple of "mission fail" bugs due to "A professional has been killed". Kinda stupid since that's the point of the mission. :/

Side note: That car with the person holding the document must be drenched in gas because that dinky thing easily blows up when you shoot at it.

I played it 75 times yesterday and didn't get a mission fail once. What I do:

- 90% play solo.

- don't die.

- wait for the document car to come off the bridge before persuing him (in the meantime just shoot out one of the 2 cars that spawns).

- use the micro smg to shoot the drivers window from behind.

- aim and don't miss. practise makes perfect.

Very mature :) I had a few hours spare and wanted to level up/gain cash efficiently.

I guess if I had wasted those few hours in freemode just running around aimlessly then those hours would have been well spent, right? thanks for your input though.

i park in the 4 way intersection an let the 3 other guys kill the garage while i kill 1 car that spawns down the road and then the document spawns, take him out an go return it. the alleyway is a waste of time and the document spawns regardless if the 2 cars that spawn after the garage are destroyed or not.

You might be onto something, I'm not sure if your theory is fully right but that spot something is weird about it, I've noticed out of the last to cars that spawn, if one of them manages to drive through the area you have highlighted above we almost always get mission fail, but a few times I blocked that cars path and stickied the car, and the green car spawned soon after, in solo, I just pickup a tank, and since I'm on the left side of the building near all those boats, that car that drives through that area turns and comes near me instead, and when both cars are blown the green car spawns everytime.

Not sure if it is relevant, but since bugs and glitches are weird it might be...

Try playing the mission on your own? You won't have to wait for some random idiot to mess up the mission or to unnecessarily draw it out.

I find it easier on my own and it's been weeks since I joined a quick mission or accepted an RR (or coveted, or anything like that) invitation.

I just go around to the entrance in the alley (against the bridge), shoot one guy, blow up the two cars in the back, then kill the rest as they come in from the other side. Toss a nade at the car at the second entrance, pick off the last guy(s) on the far side by moving out in the open whilst firing at their location, which forces them out to eat lead. Then I plant a sticky bomb in the middle of the alley, wait in my car just around the corner and as soon as the back-up car drives near/over it, I blow them up and chase after the document carrier.

It's a fairly expensive way of doing it, but you can ignore half of the reinforcements, the carrier doesn't get very far (even though I don't think he actually drives AWAY from Martin's house at any time, may just take a different route) and you're done pretty quickly.

No idiots, no bugs, just success. Don't even need a great car because there's no additional spawning hostile NPC's along the way anymore.

That's what I've been doing I drive to the east side of that building near the Alta St apartment, order a tank which spawns near the cop station (closer than at the top), bring tank to the carpark, order mechanic for my zentoro, once it arrives blow everyone up including the last 2 cars that come in, take my zentoro to ram the spawned green dot to a corner and uzi kill the driver, take package to madrazo.

You can unload all you want on the garage. ALL the glitches (on my front) are associated with the final two support cars that bring the extra professionals.

It seems if anyone dies in between these two cars appearing and the Document car spawning in, you will get Mission Failed Out of Lives (randomly most likely).

I have also seen one of these two cars being driven by the document guy (no-one else in vehicle) and when I pistolled him, I then got Mission Failed the Document has been Destroyed (his car was unharmed).

Also destroying one of these two vehicles seems to randomly give Mission Failed the Document has been Destroyed.

Better yet, if you avoid triggering arriving at the garage, the single support car that arrives with extra professionals will show up at the same time as the other two and you will not need to take out these professionals also. Supposedly this is required based on the R* patch notes.

People, don't even fool around with the two FIB SUVs that spawn after you clean out the garage. Head for the bridge as soon as the last professional in the garage dies. I go around the block, under the bridge and then make two lefts. The briefcase carrier guy is spawned as the two final cars get close. If you are near the intersection where the bridge ramps up, the carrier guy spawns and you just chase him down. Completely ignore the SUVs.

EDIT: good point about trying to avoid the first SUV spawn. I did not realize you can take out everybody in the garage without getting close enough to trigger the start.

I've gotten this on The Los Santos Connection too. My teammate destroyed the coke, and instead we failed due to: "Out of Lives"... lol wut?

How about try a different mission?

You feel free. Those of us who want fast money/RP will continue with RTR however.

Do it yourself then. People are looking for a solution to troubleshoot problems in their favorite mission. Please respect and let them discuss - please?

Joined random RR just now. In one session, a granger guy came as additional reinforcement to the 2 sedans. And it's bad news. Why? Because after we killed at least two of them, the game said Mission Failed: Document was Destroyed. Soooooo fcking obvious that they try so hard to get us out of this mission.
