More detailed GTA Online since patch?

Could it be that we have much more NPC s and cars in GTA Online after last patch? I never saw so much graphical details in GTA Online before.

The only thing I notice is that I seem to be freezing every time I play now. Prior to 1.13 I rarely had that issue despite many others having it, but now the freezing is just ridiculous. I even froze when loading GTA online once.

No that's not GTA that's your XBOX Vents being clogged by dust or an obstruction stand it up or put it somewhere that leave some room underneth so it has room to breath

Yes, they do that with hotfixes btw; not updates/patches.

 

Over the time a lot more npc's are spawning and utilities, like mailboxes etc., are now spawning.

 

Still not so much utilities at the pier area, but they will tweak it until all utilities are there

yeah map feels more alive more npcs doing stuff like in SP, especially invite only

if they keep adding more contents the game will be unplayable, it needs to be on the next gen now

I am on PS3, and come to think of it - there are more vehicles around in invite only certainly.

 

I went back to my garage or came out of it, and there was a Sultan driving by quickly which then stopped.

 

There was also one parked outside my garage, which I have never seen before and I have had it for a week (and play every night).

 

There may or may not be more lamp-posts/telegraph poles in the Rancho, Strawberry, Chamberlain Hills area, I was crashing into most of them in a crew created race in the Paradise van last night

There is definitely a increase in the amount of cars and pedestrians around. And the variety of vehicles spawning is much better then previously. I haven't had a single freeze since 1.13.

ive noticed alot of "grayed out roads" and items slowly loading in alot more often now in freeroam...along with the complete freezing for 3-5 seconds or longer while driving...it sucks...

My ps3 fans run at full speed while playing in an air-conditioned room mind you. It only ran that hot occasionally before the update. Other games don't do that. Just GTA.

I've gone to freezing once each 40 minutes to only freezing just a few times all day today. Seems a little improved for me.

It's a next-gen game running on old-gen spec. That said I've never crashed offline.

I have noticed that there's more NPC activity in Invite Only compared to open sessions. Last night we did a Hide & Seek there was a lot more people on Vespucci Beach than I've seen at times. I hope this means we'll get animals back in the game soon.

I noticed this too. Went to the desert clothes shop and in the store there was 3-4 guys looking at the clothes. Never seen that many, specally in the desert - cause noone lives in the desert right?

 

But the strange thing is that i notice it now, some week after the patch, why havent i noticed it eralier? Can it be another hotfix to the game by rockstar?

 

Had smaller freezes though, not more than 2 after the patch.
