Yeah, I thought it was a little too dramatic of an answer but at the same time fitting lol.

I initially bought a 9F (the hardtop not the cabrio convertible) because its Audi-ish and I like to drive it with my bald character dressed in a suit and red tie (Hey R* I need to be able to use black gloves on my character!), once I started driving it around though I did like that seemingly no one else has one. Also it's extremely fast and not easy to drive. I think the handling is the reason no one has one..that and its not too expensive (120K) so people assume it's garbage.

 

For a car that appears to have a rear engine it sure feels like all the weight is in the front, it fishtails much easier even than the comet. With that said though, I still love it. I've actually started to enjoy it's handling more than cars that are easier to drive. I almost never need to touch the handbrake, I can whip and drift around corners just using the standard brake and the right amount of throttle.

I have a special place in my heart for rusty cars in this game (The Voo, Ratty, and Tornado). Not only because they're shunned by the majority of the community, but I feel the decay adds a sense of soul that other cars do not have. They look like they have a story to tell.

I also love Rat rods. ^u^

I have plenty of vehicles no-one else is bothered about but it's because I like them not just for the sake of being different, e.g Sadler, Speedo, Bobcat etc.

 

If I could I would own a MTL Pounder, I bet most people don't even know what vehicle that is lol.

I bought the Surano but not because of its "low popularity". I actually like that car, good looks(minus the hideous softop) and great performance

 

I get they couldn´t replicate the original doors, but c´mon, why not a hardtop...

No why would I?I don't understand why you would buy something sub-quality just to be a hipster.I perfectly understand liking to do stand out a little but hipsters take it too far.

The Voltic seems pretty underused to me imo. I rarely ever see it in Free Mode, I think it's one of the best cars in the game. Silent, slick and most of all fast as hell! Great car all around imo.

 

Don't think it should be classed as a Supercar though.

The Stinger's low popularity was the reason why I bought one. It's my daily driver in free roam whenever I'm on my second character because to this day, I haven't seen another player-owned Stinger. With a price tag of $850,000, it isn't cheap. It's the ultimate hipster car!
