Got Any Guilty Pleasure Songs?

Recommended Posts

Mister Pink

Ray Of Light by Madonna which is actually a pretty decent track. It's produced by William Orbit who also made the music for All Saints The Beach. I think he's talented enough for capturing nice electronic sounds. It's a mix of 90's dance music fused with 60's psychedelia with healthy lashings of pop..

Probably one of Madonna's more dancier tracks.

For weeks i've been listening to One Direction's album "Four".

Believe it or not but it's actually pretty good.

Flesh-n-Bone

There's quite a few poppy songs that I actually enjoy listening to even if I don't actually go out of my way to hear them other than once in a while. These two come to mind right now.

Yeah, it feels a little embarrassing. :p

I don't usually like this type of music so that's why I feel a bit weird about enjoying it:

I also like Man Eater and Say it right. I guess there's a bit of nostalgia to it since I do remember seeing the music videos for these on TV pretty often when I was a kid and I actually liked them back then as well, it's just that nowadays my general music taste is very different(and to be clear I sort of rediscovered these songs after I had forgotten about them, I don't think I'd feel guilty about something I'd been listening to since I was a kid lol).

Saxon and Judas Priest are the kind of "guilty pleasure" bands I can admit to:

Even though I dislike most modern music, I hate to admit that I kinda-sorta enjoy listening to the female lead's voice in this one song just a teensy bit.

I'm into all forms of rock from heavy metal, old school and indie and also general rap.. But Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey, they have some bangers.

I'm with MangledCrow on that Patrick Hernandez song... I haven't listened to that song in years, but I remember when I was a kid I genuinelly liked it... Oh well...

Pretty much anything by Katy Perry or Girls Aloud.

Bonus confession: I sing along to them (very badly) when driving on my own.
