What kind of game do you make GTA?

We all know that GTA is a game full of freedoms. You can do what you want, be who you want to be. Anything. So that being said, what kind of game do you make GTA Online be? Racing, shooting, roleplaying?

 

For me, it's racing. There is nothing like the sheer adrenaline of two good drivers battling it out at the last straight. Tuning your cars to fit your personality, getting the best times on tracks... The list goes on.

Honestly, my play style varies hugely day to day and depending on who I'm playing with. Chillin one day, cruising with ransoms, shooting them up in fr the next day, and then day after that I might feel like racing, or missions or all manner of things. Bike stunting and also BASE jumping a couple of my faves.

That's the way to go. I love holding up in a shop with a wanted level.

Im a jack of all trades, master of none. I like to race and do missions the most but I also enjoy the freedom of FR and just messing about. I dont really do DM's, parachuting or survivals though. Thats what makes this game so good imo. Its basically multiple games all tied into one.

I chill with friends and crewmates, either kicking eachother's ass on deathmatches or eating each other's dust through races, then ending the day golfing.

 

And I don't think people overlook it, they're either interested in what it offers or they find their own thing to do, either way, everyone has something to do that they enjoy.

Chose all for first and yea definitely. It's funny when people come on here talking about lack of DLC, being bored, etc. I've never once gotten bored playing this game due to its diversity in activities.

I used to be free roam and missions only. After awhile, I started golfing and parachuting. Wasn't too big into racing because I find them difficult to win, but I've been racing more since the non-contact option came about (still not winning). Death matches have been my new thing as of late. Still though, my favorite activity is starting sh*t in free roam with anyone willing to shoot back. That's what makes this game awesome, and I don't understand how it gets boring to some people. Theres so many things to do, I don't think I'll get burned out on this game for quite awhile.

in question 1 i chose pvp since i do a lot of survival mode and dm's also races, since i tend to drive through san andreas at top speed.

and on question 2 i chose yes since some players will tend to get paranoid if you get to close to them and shoot you, i tend to be that way at times as well.

I like races and missions. I think freemode is boring and lacks incentive. I didn't overlook it. I just didn't like it.

I really like this thread. Don't understand why it hasn't been done sooner. I'm a little bit of a fun player/ hanging with friends kind of player. I'll play missions for fun, race for fun, and do everything else for fun. But chilling with friends has got to be the best part. I've never had as much fun playing with a group of chill people in any other game or even close to it. the amount of things you can do and the diversity of free roam in general makes this even better. Even if its broken or wont work, GTA online is the most fun I've had in any online experience.
