It's like the red dot concept became an achievement rather than a deterrent. Seriously can't do anything in the f*cking map without getting killed every 5 seconds, even with passive mode because they just f*cking run me over. and what I discovered tonight just takes the goddamn cake. Rockstar decided it would be a good idea to add "Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Da" horns that are each a different pitch. well apparently it's been discovered that the easiest way to annoy the living hell out of people is to equip the highest pitch, keep your finger down on the horn and just f*cking run people over....over and over.....and over. Make sure if you are on foot to take paths vehicles cent take. Use off the radar and bribe lester to get away from or gain tactical advantages over others. Interact with and kill other players. D. Being road kill for someone who is probably not old enough to drive in reality and sucks at everything except GTA 5. If u picked A, B, u r in the wrong game session, start a closed friend session even if no one is joining u, in solo sessions u can't access the job/mission menu via START. That's why I've been doing invite only since a few days post update and I love it. sultangris Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 free mode battles have always been normal, nothings changed except the color of the dots on the map. although some noobsacks might be intentionally hunting white dots thinking that since they are still white they will be easier kills than red dots i dont think that many people are doing it. from what i can tell its still everyone kill everyone same as its always been, doesnt matter what color the dot is. only took me 10 min to get to be a red dot though so i dont think there will be many white dots left after a while, haha! Lechase Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Self-isolation is sad or ridiculous in a multi-player game. I often use the passive mode and I try to keep an eye on the minimap. Just take a look on the big map from time to time and you know where the hotspots are. If users try to kill me in passive mode they get facepalmed till they leave or if needed I beam myself away. Most of the players who think GTA is just an ego shooter can also be avoided by the right selection of your appartment. (Don`t use Eclipse Towers, they have a bad access to airplanes/ships/mod shops and most of the players have an appartment there). Darth_Rob Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 I thought the red-dot system would deter douchebaggery because it turns the douchebags into targets, but it seems to have done the exact opposite. The red dots are all hunting down the white dots because they're easy targets, and the white dots are purposely going psycho in order to become red dots so people won't mess with them.
