As for the colors, you can probably change them in your TV so it's more contrasted ETC.
SingularSoul
-Lower your in-game brightness ALL THE WAY. -Turn off any sharpening/ "picture modes" on your TV. Edited May 22, 2014 by SingularSoul Sussus Amongus
luisniko
Brightness is not the key to vibrant color. Adjust your Color and Sharpness. If you want to increase - decrease dark and light value, play around both brightness and contrast. If you care, play around the RGB setting so you can set the best color as you like. I don't think any HDTV can be instantly nice to view. When I bought one last month, I spent 3 hours adjusting the picture and sound; justified it with several games. Misbegotten cad
On xbox there is reference level setting on the console's options. Se this to the highest setting and this really affects the look an colours. And on your telly there are the various settings movie, home and vivid picture. IMO movie gives the best colour for games as it is more subtle. Vivid is more colourfull

Ash_735
Yeah, honestly, go to an actual AV forum and find out details about your TV to learn what's the best way to calibrate, each TV is different, for example, if anyone wants to know the settings for an LG HDTV, I can share that as I have mine calibrated to get the best picture out of gaming with minimum input lag, but for say a Samsung or Sony, I don't know what settings to use on the TV itself as they are treated differently. voyager
it's also possible that your TV is fine but your lifestyle is causing you to go blind. move the TV out of direct sunlight and quit constantly wanking.

MaGnEz
Sorry mate but you can't get the pixture the same as the screenshots because they are either from a pc version or edited on a pc. So... Ye, but still worth changing some settings.
