GTAO needs Daily's and Weekly's

I would love to see Rockstar start having Daily and Weekly goals for the community. Defiance did this and it was a great idea if done right. GTAO could tremendously benefit from having Dailys and Weeklys. Here's what I mean.

One example is the contacts(Ron, Lester, Martin, Gerald), we could have Daily goals for each that resets each day/week. This would be a great reason for everyone to stop grinding RR over and over if it is done right. For instance, a Martin daily would consist of a checklist of different missions of his you have to complete...once all of the goals on the daily checklist are met, the player would be rewarded with a payout for completing the daily checklist. Tons of the missions get nobody playing them because of horrible payout. You would earn the money from beating each mission, but then get maybe another 20 to 30K for completing the daily checklist. The payout would differ depending on the missions involved(the harder the missions included in the checklist, the higher the reward for completing said checklist)

The same could be done for weeklys, but just on a a bigger scale. Each contact would have their own daily and weekly checklists.

Community challenges like on Resident Evil.net would be pretty sweet. For instance the entire community might have to beat 10,000 of 1 specific enemy type and all would be rewarded with an unlock to unlock a character costume.

So for like GTA, maybe if a certain amount of Gerald missions were played by the community or some other goal, everyone would receive $250,000 GTA dollars.

And to add, if you could bring simeon 5 high priority cars (EX: bullet, carbo, 9f etc...) and at the end of the week, he pays you a big sum of money for them. Like 100 - 200k for all 5. It would be a nice refresh from the constant RR grind that everyone does.

Beat a lot of low payout missions just to get 20-30k

OR
In the time it takes you to do all those crap payout missions, you do RR or coveted for 18k each time.

option 2 makes more money*

*legitimately

I'd probably up that checklist reward to counter the fact that RR and Coveted will take far less effort to more money

the idea is good, but the payouts are just so bad.

I mentioned the car list before, but instead of over a week it was 20 in a game day, so you'd have to team up with others in the lobby to get them all in time. Good idea though OP, didn't they do challenges for RDR, makes sense for GTAO.

The 20K to 30K payout could be adjusted. It's just an example. I would probably payout 100K at least for doing 5 gerald missions. counting the missions, you would get approx. 125K. That would be well worth doing other missions besides RR.

Similar to World of Warcraft how you had daily quests where you would receive money and tokens to collect and spend on specific vendors to buy better equipment.

GTA:O isn't exactly a progressive MMO like WoW but maybe if they added a system or special currency to buy certain things...

About damn time Gerald started paying out for the gigantic quantities of coke I've brought him. His apartment must be rammed with the stuff. Greedy bastard.

Even that damn Mass Effect 3(ugh) multiplayer had weekly challenges. I would think it would be an awesome thing to implement for GTAO. It could go a long way to break up the monotony some people are feeling.

Great idea OP, gives players a reason to stop doing the same things every time they pick up the controller.. and it'd honestly make this game better for me.

I would like a monthly easter egg hunt. They could load in a person at undisclosed location u would have to find that person for a reward. Eg. Nico Belic , have him seated at the pier. First player to locate him gets a reward

One does have to wonder why we don't at least have some forth of weekly event going on. It seems pretty evident to me that they've got plenty of resources allocated to the community aspect of GTA to make it happen.

If he payouts weren't cash relatedni might be interested. Money wise I alreadyy earn more than enough without ever trying to earn it. Money is useless cos I keep my cars and stuff. I dont change my garage every day just keep the cars I like.

What the games needs is stuff that money can't obtain. Have a simeon challenge where if i deliver him a full list of 20 specific cars he'll give me a super cool car that can't be bought or obtained any other way.

Do a similar one for pegasus. If I can deliver a specific list of 15-20 aircraft to the pegasus hanger at the airport theyll give me a hydra that cant be bought or obtained in any other way.

Stuff that money can't buy in anyway. As I feel money is already so easy to acquire that anyhing that can be bought is also ridiculously easy to acquire. Isn't anything in game currently you cant get in 10 minutes.

So I'd think things like this could be cool if the reward s weren't just anoher cash payout.

Defiance, that was/is a broken game. every one crying about how broken gta (i dont think it is) should have a go at defiance.

Red Dead had challenges it was the reason i joined the social club in the first place.

Obviously no one who actually is a gamer works for R*. I read great ideas from this forum, then an update comes.

I agree Defiance was a horribly broken game, but they had lots of great ideas that just weren't carried out correctly. This game needs dailys and weeklys. To dzian, no you can't get anything in the game in 10 minutes. If you have zero dollars and want a new super car, it takes at least a couple hours of grinding....and dailys would give the community another way to grind besides doing RR over and over. I do agree with you however that we need more thing than just cash in this game. I would love if they added mini games/arcades that we could buy for our apartments. Maybe even a card table that you could host poker games in your apartment. These are cool amenities that would really add reasons to play the game and save currency up for.
