Just got put in the Bad Sport lobby due to reports.

Every thread i read about being sent to bad sport the OP always claims they did nothing wrong. Its always "all i did was kill some squeakers" (notice it's always "squeakers" in these stories) or "I only blew up one car". This whole "and then all his friends reported me and I was immediately sent to bad sport" thing is becoming the new "my little brother/ cousin was playing and hacked which sent me to the cheaters pool".

 

How many times does everyone in a lobby have a mike on and set to public and even if this did happen why would a entire lobby of people take instructions from a child?

I report anyone that has a rank higher than about 480. I have played a lot and am at 341 so there is no way in hell you can be twice that unless you put in more time than me and I put in about 8 hrs a day since I have no life. As far as squeakers go, I only go into free mode invite only sessions and I quick join races/random. If I notice I am in a free mode with even one other player I will get myself into an invite only real quick.

 

A few days ago I found myself in a free mode lobby with 3 other players. I noticed one had a bounty and I was close to them. I ran over to them and grabbed the bounty only to be vote kicked out of the lobby by all of them because I killed one of their crew members and they could not catch me. That is what I think is BS. I was also in a race and as soon as GO popped up I took off but noticed nobody else did. I turned around and all of the players had PAUSE above their heads then BOOM! vote kicked. WTF!

you dont get bad sport from a few people reporting you for being a dick, it takes a lot and playing missions and stuff gives you a positive rating which counteracts the votes so clearly you are always an ass and deserve bad sport. I kill people all the time but if they are low level or unable to get any kills on me it quickly becomes boring and i move on to someone else. Ive blown up more cars than I can count. I also play lots of missions and I get good sport bonus all the time, haha!

Hmm.. I suppose I blew up a few PVs prior to the incident. And I hardly ever do missions any more.

Not OP's fault. He was just playing the game. If he targets the squeakers over anyone else then its the kids fault if he can't tolerate it because it just proves he is not mature enough.

Maybe the purpose of video games is to attract and collect all the no-life losers in one place, so they can be rounded up and ground into meal to make crackers for the rest of us, when the world eventually runs out of food.

I then go for my tank and wait. sure enough he follows me again and comes around the corner firing a machine gun. I blast him with the tank.

So, I was killing this one kid and he suddenly came up with the idea I was invincible (Which I wasn't) and he began to blab on about it to the rest of the lobby and in a matter of minutes an inundation of reports came my way and a little blurb appeared in the bottom left corner of my screen mentioning that I've been reported.

 

What a load of bollocks, R* needs to develop a better system instead of just tallying up reports because most people in this game are irresponsible little kids.

This exactly, I can't tell you how many times I've gotten the good sport bonus while I was blowing up someone's PV. As long as you do missions from time to time you can get away with anything.

Anyone seen the "Casa Bonita" episode of South Park where Cartman basically kidnaps Butters so that he can go to Kyle's birthday party at Casa Bonita, and at the end of the episode, Cartman runs through Casa Bonita, going to all the attractions in a hurry and then jumping off the high-dive cliff? And as he's floating face-up in the water the police arrive and tell him "Well, kid, you lost your friends, made a whole town worry, and now you're going to juvenile hall for a week. Was it worth it?" and Cartman looks at him and says "Totally".
