Doors that open in testing don't open in a published capture?!

So I worked on that Raising Arizona - Capture job I mentioned in the 'creations based on movies' thread.

It's mostly a PvE type capture pitting the players against actors and cops kind of like my job based on Heat but this one does have a choke point for potential pvp conflict. That being the 247 convenience store by Trevor's trailer. The idea is for the player to go into the back of the store to get the bag of diapers.

 

So I had no problems going into the store in the creator. I went in to place the objectives and during the test I also went in and out of the store (as well as the barbershop across the street and the tatoo parlor down the block (a starting point for a couple of players). However when it came time to play it as a published match the doors are sealed shut rendering the objectives inaccessible.

 

Does anyone know of a way to keep the doors operable or just jammed open maybe?

Entirely impossible man! Even if you clipped a prop there the end result would be a prop phased inside the door. If you start creator from online you won't have this problem because they won't be accessible. When starting from SP everything is different, even debri and other small textures vary. Each have their own benefits

Thanks. I do remember placing the interior stuff with Trevor.

That's a f*cking shame. Why do they do that? I didn't have this problem with the door on the bar.

So there are ways for the doors to (glitch?) open.

I revised the job with another set of bags placed just outside the store. On playing it again however, we were able to go inside and the doors were even jammed open for a bit.

 

I'm leaving the bags outside because this was obviously a bit of a fluke.

Still wondering if R* intended for the doors to stay shut (is it a glitch they haven't gotten around to fixing) and why?

I don't know ow why that is but I know when I create races the outdoors gates industrial that slide open are already opened in the races. but while you are in the creator they are closed but will still open. I think for all creations doors should be open or removed.

There are a lot of funky things about sliding gates and doors... If you're ever making a race go to the airport and place a starting grid by the gate. Notice how the door will open/close (forgot which now). Then when you pick it up/delete it the opposite happens... Creator is just an all around strange creature.
