I wanna know if I am safe from players who have nothing better to do than just gun everyone down. btw I learned the hard way to stay away from shootouts. I got an immediate 2 star for getting hit by a npc suv then to a 3 star bc my car was thrown into a ped and killed him/her. There was a pink dot right at the police station big shootout going on police helicopters the works. Anyway before I got 3 stared it was something to see. Also lookin for a crew who takes newbs to help them out. All I see mostly are high levels well lowest I saw was 14-28. sultangris Posted May 21, 2014 Share Posted May 21, 2014 You didnt use to be able to put bounties on passives, which was annoying as hell because jackwads would go passive in a tank and kill everyone on foot. probably why they changed it. doesnt really matter though. bounties arent that big of deal, dont be scared to have one. youre gonna die anyway and if you waste your time trying to run and hide cause you have a bounty all you will do is waste valuable time where you could be playing the game. some people are dumb enough to chase bounties but they dont pay enough to provide incentive for most people to target you specifically. Lots of people just shoot everyone. just let someone kill you and then the bounties gone and you can continue on your merry white dot way instead of trying to run and hide in fear of someone killing you for 48 minutes, lol! Makes zero sense. Might be incentive if bounties were worth 100K or something but even if its a 9K bounty its not worth wasting your time trying to keep it. you can make twice that much every 5 minutes playing missions. kw.awsome Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Not true I had a bounty set on me for 1000$ and 2 people tried to get my bounty when I as all the way up on Mount chiliad .... one guy crashed his helicopter and was stuck on the other side half way on the mountain the other guy by the time he got on the top of the mountain I survived my bounty . You may as well play single player if you like sitting on mountains doing nothing. Why would you waste your time doing that? Makes no sense to me. Chasing him in a buzzard, and he got a headshot on me with his sniper rifle. Next I called up the mechanic for my Entity. Someone else was chasing him in an unarmed Helicopter. He also got sniped, and while I was catching up to the train his helicopter crashed right into me, killed me, and destroyed my car.
