Different versions of the Sandkind?

So I know there's a Sandking XL and a Sandking SWB. What's the difference between these two? I was just checking the countryside and there were SWB's everywhere, but they didn't look much smaller than the XL to me. Ground clearance even seemed bigger than what I remember from the XL.

 

Also, I know of at least 2 versions of the XL; with and without bullbars. Are there any other versions? And which one do you get when you buy it from the web?

Pretty sure the XL has 4 doors and the SWB 2. Both are very modable, that might make up for the different versions you have seen, i.e. with or without the bullbars.

Anyway, as far as I know the bull bars aren't one of the customization options.

It's longer to accommodate the extra doors, but it's not taller or wider. I've got an XL and after a wikipedia search, I'm pretty sure the bullbars are a customization option. There are about 5-6 for the front gr

So there's no different versions of the XL? I just watched a youtube video and you're right, the SWB is slightly shorter. Definately gonna go for the XL then.

Sad thing is since 1.13 it's just 2WD... :(

they spawn in diffetent setups. i have a xl with bullbars but without the useless extended front bumper, that is a setup you cant choose in lsc so you have to find it like that if you want one.

 

Hmm ok. Extended front bumper actually sounds nice. I want this thing to be as big as it can be. Can you still add bullbars when you have the extended front bumpers?

The bars on the front are a custom option from LSC,but if you buy them there it also adds a lower lip on the bottom of the front bumper which catches on stuff when you try to drive over things.

If you find one in free roam with the bars already on the front it doesn't have the extra lip and has better clearance :)

 

I can post a pic of mine that came with the bars once I'm home if anyone wants to see the difference

So if I understand correctly, the first was found with no bullbars, and the second was found with bullbars?

 

What version do you get when you buy it?

From all the pics on the interwebs, it looks like when you pay for the mods you get the lower-hanging front bumper.

allso you can find it with rollbars. and i think you can find it with bedcover to.. nice things to get free.

Bullbar "options". I recall a chrome version and a painted one. I could be wrong... when you buy one, you should post some of that info here. I will as well when I get home tonight, but i'm off by about 7 hours from you so you should be sound asleep at that point.

I should be but that just depends how much fun I'm having. :p

 

I'll try later. I don't think I'm going to buy it though so it might be a while before I find the right version.

I'll try later. I don't think I'm going to buy it though so it might be a while before I find the right version.

 

I will go through the mods tonight and report out, just for you, CenMan. I may even take pictures if the wife goes to bed early.
