Kid325i Posted May 21, 2014 Share Posted May 21, 2014 Hello, So back in December or so, the bad sport system was kinda glitchy and it seemed like sometimes you would get labeled a bad sport for blowing up one vehicle....then other times you could blow up 50 personal vehicles in one session and not get any sort of bad sport penalty. I wasn't really sure how to best figure out my status, and since I really enjoy flying my buzzard around and hunting down fast moving cars, I ended up blowing up my fair share of vehicles. I got placed in a bad sport lobby with a month+ countdown after a few times of being placed in bad sport lobbies with only a 1 or 2 day countdown. Even though I was listed as a bad sport, and had the hat on, I would always end up in regular lobbies upon logging on, so it was not a big deal. I could also remove the dunce cap by going to my closet anytime in these sessions. However around January, one day I logged in, and found myself alone in an actual bad sport lobby. I tried joining new sessions, but I was officially a bad sport. The countdown was set at 2 months and 4 days Since this time I have not played so much, I probably log in about once every 1.5 weeks as opposed to playing every night like before. I noticed that the timer would always read 2 months/4 days no matter how long I played for, but I figured b/c I was still blowing up my fair share of vehicles etc, that was why the countdown was not moving. However then I did not play for about 3 weeks. I figured upon logging on that my timer would be at like 1 month and a week or so. But it was stuck at 2 months 4 days still. WTFFFFFF. Why would it not go down, obviously stuck/glitched and for who knows how long. I emailed R* and after like 7 wortless replies, they finally told me that I have to be ACTIVELY PLAYING to have my countdown go down? Like wtf, the countdown does not move while I am logged off? Anyway, so I have tried playing in bad sport lobbies recently and it has gone down to 1 month, 27 days, but not past that. I think i'm stuck in some sort of weird "bad sport limbo" where the countdown is glitched or stuck. Sorry for the long-ass message but really want to play in regular lobbies, and have no desire to start a new character and lose all my cars and sh*t. Anyone had this happen to them and know what to do? All R* says is they cannot adjust bad sport status and I have to play my way out of it, which seems impossible to do.... Wow you must really have a finger to wag at people who have the audacity to like shoot their guns at other people and stuff. Ditch the whole "i'm a hall monitor and bitter when people have fun with their lives" mentality buddy, your life must be pretty freaking miserable if you actually care enough to take the time to chastise others for playing a game like GTA online violently. Heres how you should do it; Get friends or random players to commend you. (Start-Players-Name-Commend) Commend as helpful Rob stores and share the $ with other players. Dont destroy any cars. Cruise with other players. Play missions with other players. If your in Bad Sport your every move is watched by there system, if you trick that system you'll be out. *********EDIT: The time left on bad sport is irrelevant, i've seen players in bad sport lobbys for over 6 months and get out within a few days. It's all about how you play the system at its his game. By the way ignore the goody boys on here, bunch of girls really. Whats the point playing GTA V Online if your going to be a good little boy. Huh! Good luck this. I blow up tons of cars but i also play tons of missions and cruise with friends and i never get bad sport after they adjusted it. Got it twice before then. In fact i dont know, maybe mines glitched too but I usually kill at least one car a session and ive never killed more than 6 or so cars in a single session and i get the good sport bonus almost every times i log in, lol! Adeel007 Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Same happened to me - I was in for a month when it should have been 2 weeks - I had to keep contacting R* and dealing with their copy and pasted answers "Time can go up for blowing up cars blah blah" but I kept saying to them - I have been playing alone and eventually after 2 weeks they let me out - do the same.
