Idea for the Mental Health system

What if when your character is has a full metal health bar, he starts hallucinating and sees every NPC as hostile?

 

For instance, a player with a white dot would see a small group of NPC pedestrians walking down a sidewalk. A player with a red dot would see the NPC's aiming a gun at them and shouting.

 

Thoughts?

Suggestions on improving this idea?

Hate?

Trolling?

Well, not bad, though I would say impossible to do. In normal state you see what other people in the same server see. When halucinating, you would see different thing from all other people. How exactly should this work? You can't change the models and animations for one player and let others unaffected at the same time. I'm not a game developer, or a coder, but I doubt even they could do that.

I think it would be damn hard if not impossible to put in the game. This would be because of the same reasons you can't skip trip in the taxi. Could be wrong but that's how it looks to me.

Agreed.

Far too little consideration was put into the ramifications before electing to put this "feature" into the game.

 

Spent about 3 hours last night without any killing. I flew around for 30 mins, then did missions with a crew mate and my 4th bar is still halfway full. Granted, I had gone psycho the previous night avenging one of my friends who had his car blown up and had to pay for the insurance because some idiot is taking advantage of R*'s far to lax insurance policies when it comes to people who hide their money in their secondaries, but you would think 3 hours would be enough to clear ALL the bars.

Actually there is kinda a vigilante mode that is in the game. During the testing required for a created deathmatch i was shooting at traffic when it stopped and a few drivers got out with guns and shot back, the same testing gave me god mode so i wouldn't and didn't die while testing it, so that program is also in there somewheres. High states of mental status should get more police attention and be shadowed by them so too react to them quicker, also Buzzard and Lazer jet rockets should be able to lock onto anyone dumb enough to be that nuts AND out in the open. :miranda:
