You get 20 RP for every full bar, and it resets the bar 5-10 times I think - so you can get 100-200 'bonus' RP.

 

You can sing, breathe heavily, tap the mic with your finger (I used my finger anyway) or blasting some 'tunes' into it.

 

I hadn't been in my apartment and used the shower for weeks/months, until last night after taking a tour of my new apartment at Tinsel Towers.

 

I didn't bother to try to get the bonus RP, but did notice it was going up anyway.

 

Not sure if it was background noise or not, but it was going up, more slowly than normal.

 

I even made up a 'shower song' when I first found out about the RP thing, before I realised you don't actually have to sing...

One time I had my character in the shower and put David Lee Roth's 'Just a Gigolo' on my radio near the TV and put the mic up to the speaker.

They made it so you wouldn't be able too say take a shower and the go too work, and come back 6+ hours later. Even if at higher ranks gaining a rank or two would inflate rank levels. Without actually playing.

Then the server auto delete your character and ban your console.
